Anyone know how to get stacks after you have cuffed for a while and the jeans are soft?
Dec 04, 2012 @ 06:57
How do I get rid of the smell?  I've done the freezer in the bag thing and that didn't work.  I've never worn the jeans and they pretty much came like that smelly lol.

You can always soak the jeans and hang dry them? That worked with my samurai's pretty well.

Are the thighs the same measurement on a pair of IH Indos (sz 30) compared to a pair of sz 29 sam 710s?

My N&F Skinny Guy Deep Indigo's are over a month and a half in and are still uncomfortable as hell, despite being the exact same dimensions as my 511's. Behind the knee I get chafing and my skin under the whisker area gets super uncomfortable. Will they ever get comfy?

You've had them for over a month and a half, but how often have you been wearing them?

I meant to say a month and half of wear. I've had them for around two months

If it's still uncomfortable then you probably sized wrong. You should measure your true waist size from now on and not go with what you wear in other brands. As for those jeans, try riding a bike or playing basketball in them. The more activity you do while you wear your jeans the more they should stretch out.

I did though. bought a tag size 30 (actual waist 31) for my actual waist of 31 inches. Should I try a 31 next time? (actual size 32)

I guess... If 30 doesn't work for you then the logical thing would be to get a 31 next time.

They don't stretch out much, so I would say go true to size. Go to your nearest GAP retailer and try em on yourself.

Just copped a pair of n&f, the fit's good but the pants are long. Anyone know if it would be okay to get them hemmed before wearing them, or should i just wear em for a while and get them hemmed later in the process?

Idk about the other guy, but I have a pair of skinny and they stretched alot, much more so than my unbranded 201's of the same size. I got a size 34, and they are probably a 35 in the waist now.

Does it cost more to hem selvedge denim rather than other jeans/pants? and when I get my jeans hemmed do I say that I want the original hem to remain at the bottom?

blue owl charges 25 so I guess most places charge the same, you just have to make sure they have a machine that does a chain stitch hem, or the selvedge line will be messed up.
