All jeans have a limit to how much they shrink.
I mean, you don't wash a tshirt 10 times, and it turn out like toddlers tshirt right?

Maybe I've misread your post, your english is confusing.

Washing your jeans will shrink them, but it wont stay that way. So if you don't like the fit you need to size down if its too big or get different jeans.

Jeans or clothing don't keep on shrinking. If you wash in a machine and machine dry that's about as small as it's going to get. Un-sanforized denim may shrink more with a few washes.

I'm sure you've washed other clothes and they didn't just keep shrinking right? Kinda like what Slap said

gotta pick up new denim, what are some good jawnz that have a similar cut as lvc 1966 501's? preferably less expensive
Aug 24, 2012 @ 17:32
^^^Thanks for the replies, yeah I wasn't sure if I made that sound right in my head haha.
Read that somewhere that sanforized or un-sanforized jeans continue to shrink till the 3rd wash or something

Currently working on a pair of Unbranded Tapers. Planning to do an ocean wash this spring break. I was just wondering, if I feel the jeans are starting to get too soft, would going into my gym's steam room bring back stiffness?
Aug 27, 2012 @ 13:40
Is there anything I can do to make my jeans like raw again. My brother gave me 3 pairs of A.P.C jeans but they look kinda whack on me. I think it's because my mom threw them in the wash like 3 times without asking me making them kinda flimsy. I'd really rather they don't just go to waste so someone give me some ideas please.
Aug 27, 2012 @ 16:39
Theres no way of making jeans "stiffer" without starching them (tutorials all over Google).
You can soak them, or wear them into a steam room, which would stiffen them after drying.
But it'll get soft in less than an hour of wear.

@granddelinquent
post pictures of them, so we know what they look like
i would just sell them on ebay for cheap, and buy a new pair.

@slap
Thanks man. I think I will try and starch a pair and if that doesnt work just sell them. Do you think the fact that they're a 34 waist and im a 30 could be making them look weird? I mean i did get them tapered at the tailor but maybe i should take them back and get a few more adjustments made
Aug 27, 2012 @ 20:35
4 sizes big? Come of dude, of course it's going to look off. Quit wasting money on trying to get them tailored and just sell them.

If you insist on keeping them, you'll either have to wear them super baggy like those ghetto kids, or get them fully tailored, and not just tapered. If they've been washed, it means they probably faded, and getting them tailored (waist, butt, entire legs) would messed up the fades.

you are getting more details of leather processing machine by this link http://gdsbjx.en.alibaba.com/
Aug 28, 2012 @ 06:29
4x bigger...more like 6x since they should measure around 36. Sell them all and buy a new pair man. I can't imagine what they look like on you.

You could sell them really cheap and still have enough to get a new pair!
Aug 28, 2012 @ 13:23

I took the picture with two different height shoes so you could see what they look like

Aug 28, 2012 @ 16:41
They're fine around the lower leg. But that top block...you can easily tell the jeans aren't your correct size.
They don't fit well at all, and look awkward. Get rid of them.

does sleeping in your raw denim do anything at all? Does it stretch them out a bit or something? Just curious
Sep 16, 2012 @ 04:52
@zomgitschris Yes! sleeping in them will make them stretch out, and it helps to break in the denim faster! Some people do that when they can't buckle/zip up fully.
Sep 18, 2012 @ 06:23
for those with crazy whisker fades, do those come from having a tighter fit or looser?
Sep 18, 2012 @ 06:58
Tighter
Sep 21, 2012 @ 01:40
can you guys recommend a good pair of skinny jeans?
Sep 21, 2012 @ 03:26
Any jean brand.
Sep 22, 2012 @ 18:04
How do whisker fades form?
I.e. stacks form b/c of having a long inseam, and homey comes b/c of bending of the knee
Sep 22, 2012 @ 18:33
@zomgitschris

What do stacks and combs have in common? Folds.
Folds = fades.

Anywhere you see your jeans crease, they will fade.
