Why not just get some Samurai's then? The S003JP's are pretty slim, even though they might not be slubby. They're pretty close to the PBJ 013's in terms of fit if you wanna go that route.

Just had a look at those Sammies, not too keen on them. Anyone have any experience with Somet 008's? Gordon from BiG recommended them, not slubby however. Leaning towards the skulls for the slub.

Skulls aren't slubby..?

Somet's are great if you don't mind a low rise.

If you want slub, go with a sized down 005 or the 013 PBJ's. Somet 003, Skull 5010, PBJ 011 for a more regular weave.

Alright guys my APC's are giving off an unpleasant smell and I'm looking to soak. Not looking for indigo loss but JUST to get rid of the smell.

How should I go about doing this? Used the search button but didn't help with my dilemma that much. Thanks

Don't bother soaking. Just stick 'em in the freezer overnight.

Definitely soak them. The freezer solution works only for a bit before you have to do it again. The soak gets rid of the smell longer and keeps your denim healthy.

I have had my APC's for 2 years now but im ready for some new jeans. Here are the questions I have

-The pockets on my APC's fall right below my ass and the waist is a bit lower than I am comfortable with(they sit a lil below my actual waist)...what jeans should I be looking at that would bring these problems?

I fill up my (clean) tub with cold water, just deep enough to easily submerge them. Then I lay them out in the tub, and let them soak for 30 minutes. After, if it's a nice day I'll let em hang dry outside. Otherwise I just hang dry in my bathroom. Not hard at all.

alright this is probably gonna sound goofy like a lot of my older questions about denim but when it comes to fades, do certain brands use "different" indigo dye that fade to different shades? hear me out, I know they don't all use the same indigo of course, but my question is are there certain brands that can get fades that are more aquatic blue vice getting whiter or less blue fades? or is it that they all fade to that aquatic blue, then keep fading to that whiter shade? here are pics of what im talking about

the blue fades on these

and the whiter fades on these

is it just a matter of those bluer fades eventually going to the whiter fades over time or does it actually depend on the brand and the dye they use?

btw i know some people probably turn up the contrast or alter pics of their jeans sometimes and that may make them look like blue fades but ive seen a lot of them

those first imps. in the first pic i would believe just come off like that because of photoshop/the camera/ or whatever. I'm pretty sure that isnt the true color.

I was in the chem lab today and for some reason I don't know how some chemical 6M NaOH mixed with concentrated HNO3 got on my APC's and I didn't notice it until I got home. Now that shit won't come off...fuck.
