If you want wolnevik, lol.
I myself am not much of a shorts guys so I'll be wearing jeans a lot in the summer. It really matters on you, just wear them when you want & wear them like you do every other jeans. Just think of raw jeans as any regular pair of jeans and nothing special.

Okay I'm stuck here in a decision. I have a budget around 300$ (incl tax), what pair of denim would have the best fading quality that is indigo or black? (with a imp duke fit).

right now im looking at sammies flatheads and imperial...

pbjs have a straight slim look to them, x005, the only difference between imperial an other brands is that the dukes have lower pockets than average

got a question about tailoring, i have slim fit UJ's and the thing is i think the leg opening is slightly to wide, and id like to get them tapered.


they are just over 8 inches wide, how much should i taper them so they hit arent over tapered but just right?

He wants a fit like the Imperial Dukes tho, Sugar Cane doesn't do many modern cuts. The closest he'll get is a SC2009, when the 710s/XXX1's/F310s/SExI08s are all closer options.

I saw some 'kevlar jeans' the other day by naked famous and was wondering how they fade. anyone know?

Is it necessary to soak jeans in full-length bathtubs? Or will like a five-gallon bucket or a sink suffice? I don't want any excess dye to stain my tube which has happened in the past. Does it matter if the jeans thus aren't fully extended?

Has anyone had any success with overdyeing denim? I recently bought a pair of Naked & Famous vintage blue weird guys and I'm not thrilled with the color in person. I was thinking that I would get used to it, and I've seen some really great faded pairs of the vintage blue, but I really don't want to take the time to get the color to a point I like. I had them hemmed cause I thought I would eventually like them, so they can't be returned. Considering overdyeing them black. Thoughts?

ive worn my apcs for about 6 months and theres some fade from wear

should i wash em now or go raw dog??? ( i sorta like em how they are now but want to see how they turn out lighter)



also how do i get rid of these folds on the back pockets(Sorta like the diaper but its from the jeans being bigger in rear and it like folds inwards forming like a diagonal line through both pockets)

if u feel that u put enough wear, then wash it.
it does matter if u wash it instead of soaking. washing will get rid of more dye, blah blah blah.

i feel like they could use some more work but does that matter? if i go a little longer?

cause the jeans are starting to get mad dirty


im just real nervous as to how these turn out i dont want them to come out the wash looking like some old sky blue jeans

just use ur gut man. denim isnt an exact science. they obviously wont get sky blue after one wash so u should be fine for a LONG LONG while man. i mean back before i really got into denim i had a pair of uniqlos n washed em almost every other day n they still have a rather dark blue hue. so ur good man.

so in the end just go with ur gut man.

No. Idk why so many people waste so much water in filling their bathtub. I just use the one from Home Depot (like $6 for the bucket and lid) and fill that sucker half way and let them go. If you want, you can shake the bucket to agitate. I use the same method for washing as well.

I have a pair of Levis 511s that I've been wearing. They're a bit bigger than I would like so would a soak later on have any good shrinking effect?

dont think so. probably depends on the denims ur using and the weight on them.

i.e. i got sum neighborhoods n theyre fine after about 6 months of wear cuffing for about half the time.

and just iron em n i dont see y the crease would be too defined.
