Oh, if want the bleeding to totally stop, you can just wash your jeans 2-4 times to get rid of all the indigo but retain the dark color.

you cant stop them from bleeding. i have jeans that have been worn for a year and washed 10+ times that still bleed. it is just the nature of the fabric.

Oh just kidding =X, but from knowing cheep you probably have very good denim that knows how to keep its indigo. Your stussy denim compared to cheep's denim is very different, not saying you denim is down there or anything its just the quality of hows it made. I hope i made some sense there

alrite so im planning on buying a pair of nudies but im not sure which ones to get. im looking for a straight leg fit thats not to tight and i want my jeans to stack over my shoes. i was thinking of average joes. would they be a good fit for me? also should i size up/down when getting nudies?

I started a thread asking this same question and didnt get alot of replies...so I'll try again. Is it possible to find cheap raw denim (under 100), im not looking for the best...I'm not trying to get some great fade, I just need a couple pairs of jeans to throw into my rotation.

damn... i knew i had a pm to respond to...

one wash and machine dry as soon as you get them home to get the shrinkage out of the way... then wash when they are dirty.

Anyone know a good place to pick up Uniqlo S-000 in San Francisco / 415 area? I heard AB Fits, but on their website they don't have them listed as carried brands. Or any online stores that aren't overprices. Thanks!

karmaloop has some raw selvage dc jeans for something like $80 or so, or last i checked at least. i got a pair this summer for the hell of it, they're not bad. and they have some lrg grass roots raws. i think ~$80 too. and i got those for an extra pair just because too. they're pretty thin denim, but they have a different colour and sheen to em

This question is regarding taping your jeans. Now I tape my jeans to avoid bleeding on my shoes, but the problem with it is that the part that is taped on the bottom stays straight because of the tape and does not stack. How do I rectify this problem? What kind of tape sould I use, is there a kind of thin tape I could use that won't interfere with stacking?

it's been a little over 3 months now and I want to give my ESOD a soak, how should I go about it? what should I do? how long/what kind of water so it won't shrink any.

Whats the reason for your soak? If it doesnt smell or you want to loosen color then thats ok, but if its for no reason then eh...

Cold Water for minimum shrinkage, inside out - right side in doesn't matter. Timing can be from 30min to 2 hours

When you do your first soak, is it by months? And of course temperature plays role, but I read it messing up the honeycombs and all that?

I'm wearing my Raw denim out the box and dont' plan on soaking till a few months and maybe taking it to dry clean?

You can make your soak by month, but if you do a inital soak it will shrink your denim and take out color, so by the time you wash it wont shrink too much. If you dont do a initial soak on un-sanforized denim and when you soak/wash it later on your creases can shift making it look weird. As usual temperature goes
cold - minimum shrinkage/less loss of color
hot(varies) - medium to maximum shrinkage / more color loss

yeah... i always soak sanforized denim to take the starch out... it can cause the denim to break down the road. you dont really lose enough color to notice usually

Will dry clean affect this?

I got a pair of Nudies. I guess I am gonna try it w/o soaking nor washing.

Well, dry cleaning is going to get rid of any smells of course, but I also think its going to flatten out creases, unless your okay with that.

I was at my local place and the guy there said that nudies makes a 36 in Europe. Is this true. I need a 34 x 36 and he said that its "rumored" to be available in Europe. Can anyone help me out here?

Anyone own any denim from the PumaXEvisu. I tried some on today and loved the fit. What I wanted to ask was about fading...any at all?
