I'm thinking about getting my 514s tapered, but if I read correct before tapering shortens the inseam( yes noconfused Can't really picture that happening in my mind so that's why I'm asking...

i doubt the inseam will be shortened
but if it does, you probably won't notice the difference.

Naw it shouldn't, it only decreases the leg opening size which has nothing to do with length.

Hey technique i know you have skulls, Im interested in some after messing up my sam710s

Whats the difference between the 5010xx raw and 5010xx one wash? The one wash is literally just one wash? just to remove the extra starch? Also the one wash is slightly smaller than the raw cause of the shrinkage? However, 5010xx's are sanforsized right?

(But for the one wash 5010xx , is it still really crispy and almost feels raw? )

Also I really want a good fit, I dont want mad hip flare, But i also don't want the 'sufu skinny' fit.

Everyone talks about Lin's fit, and I do want that kind of fit without looking like a hipster since I understand that 5010 are more on the slim/skinny side. My 710xx were slim with a decent taper.

If my true waist is around a 29, should I just go true and get the sz 29? If i buy the raw 5010xx, how much will it stretch(waist, hips/calves/)?

Thanks

Jeans are pretty far away from the mouth unless you are smoking in enclosed area.

Yea the one-wash means they just went through a factory machine wash which is more rougher then your at home machine. The denim is softer and not as crisp but is still able to create some defined creases. The 5010xx raw is sanforized raw so there will be just a bit shrinkage but not as much as say your 710's. I would go true to size with this jean as it works best for a lot of people. The raw 5010xx will stretch about an inch after wear, not much in the calves, and maybe .25 - .5 in the thigh.

Guys this is a serious question...

How can I remove honeycombs from my raw denim jeans (nudie slim jim 30 x 32 sized up 1)?

I want to remove them because I've been wearing my jeans both sagged, and a little higher than my waist with a belt; so the honeycombs have spread, and I want them to be concentrated in one area.

I will provide some pics if needed but any help is appreciated

- thanks

Dandy, nothing you can do the starch just washed off, don't suggest adding your own starch either so deal with it.

Saif, once honeycombs are set, you can't "remove" them.

k so i've had these nudies for about 8 months (of wear) and want to shrink them a bit in the thighs, they are a little bit loose. i dont want to lose much indigo in the process either because theyre not fully broken in yet. I'm throwing in some Woolite Dark but I'm just wondering if I should wear them or toss the jeans in the tub alone? And should I use cold or hot water?

turn them inside out. hotter water = more shrinkage and vice versa, so... use your own discretion. i'd try cool water first and see where that gets you.

and what would be the difference between just laying them in the tub and throwing them in the wash with just cool water?
