I bought white selvedge Gap slims just to have a pair of white jeans lol. The fit is pretty good, but definitely not high quality denim.

Uniqlo is better

Whats the point of soaking your jeans?

To clean them?

whats the difference between a hot soak or a cold soak?

If i cold soak my APC (Only worn 2 weeks) will the color/fade of the jeans change?

Why do people soak there jeans then wear it while its wet?

is there a point to that?

-Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

1. to shrink them after months of wear they get flimsy unless you sized perfectly.
2. Yes it helps somewhat even though its a half ass wash.
3. cold soak wont really shrink the jeans, hot soak will shrink the jeans
4. a soak will probably remove excess dye considering its been 2 weeks, you wont really notice a change in the color.
5. To set creases, and it forms to your body.
6. Somewhat of a point you dont really need to do this no matter what denim you get.

Can't post up links, but google "Farinelli's" for APC and I know Cultizm accepts paypal is well. Both places stock Nudie.

will wearing my denim 24/7(even when i go to bed) be beneficial to fading?
September 22, 2009 @ 16:06:49
They will fade but wearing them to sleep is really not needed for......at all.

i hate how people go to the extreme trying to get their jeans to fade.
jeans are just for wearing, the fading is just an extra.

anyone know what nudies would fit closest to edwin ed-47's? love the fit on mine but wanna try some nudies...im guessing average joes right?
September 22, 2009 @ 20:28:12
Easy Emil is closer, with a bit more room in the top block. Average Joes would be second closest.

For levi's, is there a sizing rule or do you go tts?
September 23, 2009 @ 00:26:41
anyone know the brand rage blue japan? cause someones selling them to me and i never heard of those
September 23, 2009 @ 00:39:57
if they are from japan, must be at least decent
im sure many people have heard of them, BUT people like to stay safe and get samurai and flathead
you should probably try em out, have something no one has. who knows, you might start a new trend of wearing rage blue japans
Good luck on ur denim purchases

If you get 501 STF's size up 2.
Any other Levi's just go true.

How are EDWIN denim?
Specifically these.. http://www.cultizm.com/product_info.php?info=p415_EDWIN-ED-77-SLIM-GRANITE-DENIM.html compared to lets say APCs
& which fit would those EDWINS be compared to levi's (514, 501, 511, etc)
Also, are they RAW? It doesn't seem to say on the website.

keep wearing them they stretch out.
There arent many ways to directly stretch the thighs.
After the wash theyll stretch back out.

NC are a tight fit btw, look at the ps cut next time you buy from apc.
September 23, 2009 @ 18:35:15
^^^ what does that say?
September 23, 2009 @ 18:39:23
yea i realize NCs are tight haha. they are just way too tight now. they were even to tight before the wash.

i found a pair of levi's x clot
at my local buffalo exchange

i didnt get to take any picts
but
it has a blue metallic levis patch on the back
has black pockets with chinese looking pattern which are pretty thick
has blue clot embroidery on it by the coin pocket
the inside of the waist band has chinese looking material around the inside
the pockets are made of the same black material as the back pockets
and the leg openings are lined with fabric that says clot on it

does any one recognize these?
i dont really know much about levi's x clot

How would one go about making their own denim company........?
September 24, 2009 @ 20:39:58
Get money, find a reliable source where you can buy your denim in bulk, sketch out your designs [fits], make samples, release final product...I'm sure there are a shit load more steps but this is just the jist of what it takes..
