I'm referring to jeans with just a bit of a flair at the bottom; not bell-bottom styled. Does anyone here rock them and is there a place for them in the streetware market?

Boot cuts usually look terrible with sneakers. They really only make sense to me if you are wearing some high cut boots.

some bootcuts are alright... vintage levis 517 come to mind. most modern bootcuts are horrid.

i think they only really work with boots, and only on certian body types. i dont wear them.

QFT.

That and most people who wear boot cuts have absolutely no sense of style. Usually dumb dudes who bought a pair of ugly jeans at the nordstrom rack only because theyre true religions.

depends on the jeans. I've got a pair of selvedge rrl boot cuts that have a leg opening just a little bigger than standard jeans but at the same time some boot cut jeans have leg openings that could damn near fit my head. It really depends on the jeans tho. And of course there is a place for them in the streetwear market, come snowy/rainy winter time in the northeast I know I'm not gonna be wearing my sneaks every day and i'm not gonna wear jeans w/ too small leg openings w/ my boots.

the boot on it is pretty narrow to be called bootcut.. im breaking in mine right now and the knee area receives a lot of tension

i have a feeling, towards the end the flare wont be too noticable as it doesnt recieve nearly as much pulling as the upper areas

So I guess everybody here can agree that boot cut jeans only work with boots, and knowing hypebeast.com, there prolly aren't too many people here who wear boots, so yeah...

you cant really cuff them either...it looks retarded...they work fine with dunk highs but theyre a no-no for lows, unless you wanna tie them down w/ your laces (you dont)
