what fit is closest to the gap morisson in APC? Also, which is baggier, the standards or the rescues?

rescues and rescues. but new standard is just a bit more slim/tapered/tighter than morrison. go with the standards tho cuz they look more appealing than rescues.. most will agree.

Has anyone tried new cures blackwash stretch? How are they, and they are raw of course right?

damn
I dont relly understand why they stretch out like crazy
I have this pair of raw selvedge 501s and they didnt really stretched (mines are 29x32 anbd they're now 30x32)
Sep 27, 2007 @ 17:10
5 sizes

That is ridiculous why would anyone want jeans that strech out five sizes?

I do want some a.p.c's but if they strech this much I am getting weary.

Someone hit me up with a pair in 28 with 34 length.

I would sell you a new pair that I'm getting tomorrow but I doubt you'd like the price that I'm asking.
Sep 30, 2007 @ 11:47
i know that the general consensus is to size down 3 on new standards. how much should i size down on new cures. and also for comparison, how do the NS or NC fit compared to h&m sliqs. i like the cut of the sliqs except the inseam is way too short. thanks!

APC's only stretch about 3.5 sizes maximum. They do not stretch up to 5 unless you force it to stretch.
Oct 08, 2007 @ 22:00
the folks @ APC in NY told me if you try on a particular size & it fits you perfectly to size down 1
Oct 09, 2007 @ 00:17
i have a pair of NS size 26 how long will it take till they stretch out?
Oct 13, 2007 @ 02:30
If I'll buy em in not skin tight fit, will they still stretch? Like if i'll take a little loose fit, should I still take em 1 size smaller?

I am having a crazy time trying to find out my size. All this sizing down is making me weary lol.

Here's what I wear:
36 x 32 (Puma Evisu) - Very nice fit, stacks evenly and no overdose
36 x 32 (Kenneth Cole Reaction) - Slimmer fit, fits really nice after breaking in. No baggy, no condom wrap
34 x 30 - Levis Relaxed fit.

Overall I would say I am a 34 x 30. I don't like tight wrap jeans and I don't like baggy either. I like them on the slimmerish side and have them stretch with time.

I suppose I should go 33 for APCs? But the inseams is way too long for me. =(
Oct 13, 2007 @ 22:09
wats the longest inseam i can get on a sz 36 waist pair of NS APC?
Oct 13, 2007 @ 22:35
smh at these sizing questions. if your getting a pair of new standards. measure your waist with measuring tape. if you measure 32 get a 30. If you dont have measureing tape. get a piece of long string and a small ruler. take the string measure yourself and see where it overlaps. then get the ruler and measure it. simple.

whats the biggest waist size for New Cures? thanks
Oct 15, 2007 @ 08:33

I just got my A.P.C new standards in.

Colour: Raw Black
Size : 32

Now for measurements.

Inseasm: 36
Waist: 34

I did not order strech denim, but the pair that I got is a bit strechy. I am assuming that all A.P.C denim is like this.

They feel no wear near as comfortable as my Nudies that I have completely broken in. We will have to see how these wear over time.
Oct 15, 2007 @ 21:29
Wow, how old is that ??

imperials are better quality but a lot of people don't like the king's cut.

you can order them off the A.P.C. website, im going to post pics of my new cure jeans when i get home, i've had them just about 10 months and they look similar to the pair posted above blushing
Oct 21, 2007 @ 14:11
What fit should i get that would be similar to Nudie Regular Ralf but not bootcut and a little bit tighter
Oct 21, 2007 @ 15:37
My friend bought his NS expecting more stretch then he's getting so far (1 or 2 months in). Anyway to make them give a little more? Would a cold soak make them stretch a little better afterwards, or just stiffen them up w/o allowing more stretch after?

That is soo sick........ how did you do that?
