I got some new standards... and I want them a little looser than they are right now..

I'm just wearing them a lot to stretch them out, but is there a quicker way?

Yeah, they're loosening up a lot and starting to look great. They went from skin tight to loosening up quite a bit.

I sized down 2 sizes from my true waist size.

I'm planning on copping some NC's but I don't know what my true waist size is. I don't own measuring tape. I wear a 30x36 in 501's. They have stretched about a bit since I bought them. If I want to size down 2 when I buy APC's should I get a 28 or should I go smaller?

If you wear your jeans really tight, go down 3. If you wear them somewhat looser, go down 2.

I have a pair of nudie even stevens size 31 and they fit really lose I wanna get a tighter fit but they were sold to me cheap so whatever. I was wondering what APC jeans have a fit similiar to nudie even stevens? Thanks

its dope as fuck, but damn too expensive for my pockets. lately all i cop is express jeans and old skool vans. what do u guys think of express jeans? usually slim w/ straight leg.

If you size down 1 they'll be very slim and flattering but not skin tight. If you size down 2 or more they'll be pretty much skin tight but will stretch a bit in the waist and thighs.

New Standards, except they don't taper like the Even Stevens do.

got my first pair of APCs today at denimbar as they just got their new shipment of new standards in - i tried a bunch of different stuff to see what i liked the best, im pretty sad they didnt have any rescues or nudie straight svens in my size i would have liked to have tried those out

oh well either way I sized down quite a bit, from the crazy stretch stories ive heard here i bought them so i can barely button the top button of the fly, so theyre a little too tight at this point but i figure theyll stretch out eventually, i must say im pretty happy with the price to quality ratio here, especially being that I tried on a bunch of different brands and fits and kept coming back to the NS
well see how these next few months go and thatll determine what i cop next (hopefully some black NS.....wish they were selvedged though)

yea...i wrote that...then i was like....wait....unless i piss the bed or had a water bed that leaked, i really wouldnt have to deal with bleeding - they stretched a lot today so ima wear em tonight as well - i shoulda probally gotten a size up cuz these are still tighter than I want but once again only been wearin em for like 2 days i figure theyll loosen up

theyre starting to pill a little bit, is that normal?

hmmm my waist is usually a 32, and i was unsure about these 30s so i went and tried on a 31 todau expected to exchange em and i didnt struggle to button em as i do the 30s but the stacking was CRAZY they were soooooo baggy i knew once they loosened up theyd look rediculous so I stuck with the 30s, theyre tighter than I want but based on what I read here after stretching ill be pretty satisfied

im hearing mixed reviews for new standards
how often will the waist stretch 3-4 inches?
im typically a 30 in denim
so I'm debating 27-28 i kind of like my shit slim so 27?

I wanna step my denim game up. I have some 511s in 32. They fit tight at first then stretch out like most denim and now a belt is needed at all times. I want some denim that fits like these, but i plan to size down. I was looking at New Cures and Super Slim Kims. Which would give me the fit im looking for?

read a lot of mixed reviews, i wear a 34 in most stuff (my gap morissons were a little tight in a 34 and hundreds ink a little loose) was looking into APC NS, any size suggestions, ive read recommendations between 1-4 sizes down!
found a 32 should that be good, as far as i can tell miami dont have shyt in the way of a denim based store that would have them to try on first. . .
any suggestions welcome

so im kinda new to buying proper fitting and quality jeans..im 6'2" 145lbs usually wear a 32 in most jeans..im thinking of getting a pair of rescues and will probably go with a 30 waist due to the stretching you all have mentioned..but i was wondering about the length..is it a universal length for apc jeans or does it vary depending on the waist size you get?
