Yeah, $90 shipped to Canada is a good deal. I think I've seen them go for $75 shipped before, but they were slightly more used. I say go for the deal blushing

So I have a pair of APC rescues...Only Denim I've worn for past 6 months. Well at first I couldnt even button the top button. Then after a week for the next 5 months they fit perfect!...But all of a sudden Theyre loose as hell. I think its from when I go to piss say at baseball games or whatever I just pull my pants down instead of unbuttoning and it stretched it out. Sounds dumb but Im serious...

So any solutions to this...Never been washed and I really didnt want to for another 6 months but if I do wash them now will they shrink back to the right size?

Just wash the jeans. If you're hesitant to, then do a hot soak for 2 hours. They should shrink back to a size that fits you better.

My new cures have maybe stretched a size but they don't stretch as much as the NS.
Aug 26, 2007 @ 07:56
if you're planning to cop a pair of APC, I'd say size down 2 sizes. They stretch out quite a bit
Aug 28, 2007 @ 21:23
i don't know if anyone noticed
they have black raw new standards(FULL STOCK) on apc.fr

i was gonna buy a pair of APCs but after reading the first few pages of this thread & hearing about problems with sizing i think i might just buy a pair of nudies = /

Nudies aren't any better, instead of stretching they have tendency to blowout. Ive seen many a pair with crotch and ass repairs. Look into APC new cures, they dont stretch as much.
Aug 28, 2007 @ 22:19
actually i`ve been noticing some weird fades around the crotch...is that due to blow out or is that normal

Well for nudies its normal because thats their weak spot, so its naturally going to fade faster. At least until a fat hole appears.

are the black ones also selvage?
Aug 29, 2007 @ 11:16
^ i thought raw was selvage

this is the kinda stuff people should learn in school
Aug 29, 2007 @ 11:27
raw is unwashed. selvage is the self finished edge on a roll of shuttle loomed denim.

yes, some people need to go to school.

ay cheep or someone,

My APCs got a stain on the knee I noticed today. Ive been wearing them for 6 months without a wash. Getting a little lose as is. Is there a proper way of washing/soaking them? Also treat the same as you would on a tee or what?
Any help is cool.
Aug 29, 2007 @ 15:05
throw them in the washing machine inside out, wash hot, hang dry.

No raw doesn't mean selvedge, raw just means its unwashed. However, a pair of jeans can be raw and selvedge.

No, just raw.

edit: oh actually i think they are selvedge. that's what the APC site says. "red selvedge"
Aug 31, 2007 @ 18:09
anybody know if denimbar is gonna stock ns's and nc's in raw black anytime soon?

it says selvage on the main description for new standards and the detail description of the indigos but not on the detail description of the blacks. it's just a sizing issue since the selvage seems to stretch more i need to know before pulling the trigger.

got me some NS today, i really like the fit, a little baggier than my jims, I'm considering not going with the whole 6 months before a wash thing, just to see what happens.

There are some cool NS on Sufu that supposedly are washed regularly.

Sep 01, 2007 @ 09:54

yes, i believe that was me. to clear any confusion, black ns is not selvedge, and the sizing is the same as the indigo ns.
