How do you want them to fit? Down 1 for a little looser fit and down 2 for a skinnier fit.

get a 31. It depends on what you want. Slim or just tapered.

anyone else have problems with uneven stretching? my fades are starting to come in pretty well but now the thighs and the crotch are all stretched out and the calves are super tight. It makes it look weirdly tapered but not in a good way.

I recently got my New Standards tailored and I feel like they made the taper a little too strong. My question is, will the calf area stretch any after the tailoring?  The thighs fit perfect now but the tapering is just a little too much for my taste.

Is there anyone else having a problem only can button the bottom button and that's it? Just bought a pair of Petit Standard in size 28 week ago. Actual waist was 31. I don't know whether i should size up to size 29 or keep wearing until they stretch and fit me well

take pics i wanna see this.  from what it sounds like, they'd be extreeemely tight if you can only button the bottom one.  but maybe just tight at the waist

PS down 2, traded in my old new cures for 50% off

Any pictures of the NC's? I've read A.P.C. is kinda picky on what they accept for the butler program. Like no wallet fades or some shit.

do you think A.P.C. would accept one of these as butler's? I am thinking about copping these on eBay--keeping one pair and flipping the other pair to get half-off some new ones through the butler system.

you don't trade directly for a new pair. you give your old pair in for a new pair at a discounted price.
how do they determine which to accept/reject?

They have to be pretty wearable after they wash them, cant be too trashed like the pics above, the 2nd pair you have would be fine if the seam on the left leg didn't look like it was falling apart so bad

I'd like to get some opinions. So I bought these on eBay. Wasn't really sure how to size on APC Petit Standards. I figured getting a used pair on eBay, trying them on and figuring out how to size based on that pair would be my best option, as I don't know any store around me that carries them so I could try them on in store. These are a 31 waist, with a hemmed 30 inseam. To my surprise, they fit pretty well. I think I might get them hemmed a bit more since there seems to be a couple inches of denim that has nowhere to go resulting in weird stacks.
