Been wearing these across Europe and loved how they've turned out. Took me 3 pairs to get it right but now I'm happy.

I USED TO RIDE A HOOPTIE, NOW MY LIFE A MOVIE

Also got the crotch fixed
Could you share your washing methods and how long it took before this pair turned out so beautifully?
Yeah. I initially soaked them at 8 months. Then washed every few months after that with normal woolite, not woolite dark, and they were just washed in my bath tub, nothing special. Each time they were washed the fades were able to come in nicer, it's been about a year and. 8 months or Two years now.

outgrew a pair of 31 PS's and wanting a looser fit, should i go for a 32 NS or stick with 31? the waist on my current PS is too small
Go with a 31 NS. Chances are, they'll stretch more anyway.
so would you say a 31 NS waist is slightly bigger than a 31 PS? just trying to confirm before i order
Check for yourself bro, you can use the charts on Context Clothing to figure it out: http://www.contextclothing.com/brand.php?brand=A.P.C.%20Denim

Just curious. I know you size down on your waist (my usual jean size is 32 x 32) and looking at a pair of new standards should I go 30 x 32 or size down on inseam too?
Jesus Christ... Do these noobs asking questions even try? All APC denim have an inseam of 34"... Fucking noob ass mofucka...

New to the APC game and just copped a pair of PS. Went to the Soho store and tried on a 28 and 29 (true size is about 31, and I'm 5'9", 130).

The 29 fits a bit tight, but I can button them all the way up with a bit of work. When I tried on the 28s they were like jeggings and I couldn't even button the top two buttons. And the sales woman also told me that I should've gotten a size down from the 29, but agreed that the 28 was way too tight. It's like there was no in-between. Should I be worried about the waist stretching out a lot on the 29?

^even if the waist stretches out too much, it was better that you got the 29 rather than the 28. people exaggerate how much the jeans stretch out other than the waist, if they fit like jeggings/skin-tight first wear, they will only stretch out so much - they'll still be od tight in the end.

hey everyone im new to APC and what not. just looking to see what size I should get. I generally wear a 28/29 then a 30 with a belt (which is somewhat big but it depends on the brand) what would you guys say I should get?

Agree with Rekuso, if the jeans are skin tight the fit will pretty much remain the same. The legs wont stretch that much.

Baconmane- what cut are you looking for? Just measure a pair of your jeans that fit how you like and compare measurements. Start off with sizing down 2 or 1 and exchange if needed. Read a few pages and you'll find your answer

Get 29 and you'll be happy..I made a mistake and bought my first APC PS in 29 (but I'm true size 32 tho), and now I regret it as it is still too tight in waist after 5 months. I can button up, but it is not as comfortable as I would want..

size 25 in what cut?  That may be too small. Measure the waist band of a pair of good fitting jeans as the tag size is more than likely not the actual waist size.

Go to contextclothing.com and look at measurements. I'd say look at the New Standard cut. Also look around at online store's return policy so you can exchange them without a hassle.

Worth it to me, got them in and the fit is very nice, waist is a little wide/low so most people will need a belt. Stacks are cool

I've read from various people that A.P.C. has been restocking parts of the collection. Just wondering if I head down today if it'll be worth the trip. Going to call and check.

You should go for either a 26 or 27. If you want a slim appearance for for the 26 but if you just want a relaxed fit you could either go 27 or 28.

In all honesty, I've had these for 5 years (I know, right and just started wearing them last week

CUT YOUR RESCUES INTO A DENIM JACKET CAUSE YOU GOT THE MATERIAL FOR IT BREH. in all seriousness it doesnt look good, especially the first pic, seems like your torso got cropped in the middle. IMHO. get some NEW STANDARDS. or petits if you're trying to get with it.

I think sz 30 would be great, because I had ordered 31 at first and had to exchange it for smaller as it was quite loose fit. I could button up very easily and I had overall feeling like this size is too big for dry denim which stretches a nice bit.

I know. I've just had them sitting for so long and I figured I'd try them out again. Anyone want to trade me some NS sz. 29-30 for my sz. 30 Rescue??? Surely someone needs some baggier jeans.

I don't really stress my PS alot, just casual wear, sitting in school and walking - crotch looks like it will rip in a month, so I think 6-7 months (the only real fade I have right now, and really noticable one)
