Hey auguste, I can't PM you for some reason, but would you be willing to sell your pair to me? Let me know your price, I can send via Paypal, thanks !

If I am able to do all the buttons with struggling, do I have to size down to account for the stretch, or will I be ok with a belt? I don't want the thighs to be any slimmer.

Hey man, I appreciate you liking them, but I'm not looking to sell them. Sorry.

NS, sz. 27, ~2.5 years, 2 washes. The crotch blew out after about a year of wear.

i dont understand buying/wearing someone else's raw denim...it's like a custom fit for someone else's leg...not to mention they go unwashed for so long...shit is kinda...ehh..

Anyone got a PS 27? The smallest Nordstrom carries is 28.

I feel the exact same. It would only seem right if there wasn't too many wears in the denim itself. Either way you look at it, buying used raw denim doesn't sound hygienic at all.

Does anobody here have complaints about A.P.C denim ?
My friends can't even wear their's because after just a low temperature wash in machine, they're fucked up lol.

i never washed raw denim, and i'm in fact only about 4-5 months into my first pair, but i wouldn't machine wash them at all.

Machine washing is fine, just use cold water and don't throw them in the dryer. The more you put them in the dryer, like any piece of clothing, the more they will soften and deteriorate.

Info on black NS compared to indigo on sizing/stetching? I have a pair of indigos in 30 and thinking about grabbing a 31 off a friend. I heard black fits a bit slimmer than indigo and stetches less. Can anyone confirm or clarify?

I saw your pair and saw a couple earlier and this is my first time coming into this thread  and finding interests in APC denim and I was wondering why other pairs were worn less but had more fading. Is there a reason why yours didn't fade or stack as much as other APCs but worn more??
Others have worn less, but they probably wore them harder. I just wore mine to class and to do casual stuff. I also washed mine pretty early because I got them dirty at a party. As for the lack of stacks, I got them hemmed.

I had taken the words out of his mouth and filled it with fart.

machine washing messes up your fades. i'm with paulywalnuts about not washing at all (at least for a very long time). apc recommends putting your jeans in the freezer if they start to smell.

Some different lighting, ps, worn 4 months now. Repaired some croutch blowout. Any feedback?

what kind of feedback are you looking for? fades look good
should i wash em soon, or get "harder" fades?
March 31, 2013 @ 19:43:36
Honeycombs are looking nice. As to the fades, that's really up to you. Do you want more contrast? If so, wear them and don't wash unless you have to. If not, wash when you want. Other than that they're looking good.

dem honeycombs
April 03, 2013 @ 19:52:19
i've been wearing some petit standards on and off for about 3 months now.
there is no visible fading anywhere, and the denim is still quite rigid.
is it ok to throw them through the wash now?
the point of washing would be to possibly soften the denim.
would they look any different after the wash?
April 03, 2013 @ 20:14:08
^ Just keep wearing them everyday, they'll soften up on their own. If you wash them right away they loose the indigo and it'll be harder to achieve fades.
April 03, 2013 @ 20:49:48
Here are mine; NS 6 months no washes.

Yeah I can't remember if he went one down or TTS. I'm about to go TTS. My first pair I went two down and after a year they're just painful to wear, primarily in the thighs. There's not much discrepancy between a 28 and 29 so I'm gonna try a 30 and see how that works.
