I'd say Uniqlo?
Jul 14, 2013 @ 23:23
What's there to be surprised about? Many people who actually wear APC not only for their denim have their own sense of style and don't mindlessly buy an item simply because it's marked the "Kanye Capsule."

some guy posted this on instagram, i'm guessing the fit is similar to PS:

The stone wash looks good, but for that price, I might as well go RRL.

I'm usually a 32 and I tried on a pair of 31 PS brand new at a store and they were snug but good. That was a few months ago and I caught a pair of  brand new 31 NS on ebay for a steal and they were huge.
I may have slimmed a little but I haven't lost wait...
I'm wondering is there usually that much of a difference in the waist sizing between NS and PS? I'm debating sizing down to a 30 but am worried that might be too small. I got a pair of 31 N&F wierd guys that are perfect if that gives perspective.

Been wearing these across Europe and loved how they've turned out. Took me 3 pairs to get it right but now I'm happy.

PS is a much more tapered cut, hence it being the second slimmest fit. The first APCs I ever bought were NS and I sized down properly but they fit so awkwardly. The PS fit me much better. I'd say just fuck the NS and take a 31 PS

Could you share your washing methods and how long it took before this pair turned out so beautifully?
Jul 17, 2013 @ 17:18
Just curious. I know you size down on your waist (my usual jean size is 32 x 32) and looking at a pair of new standards should I go 30 x 32 or size down on inseam too?

8( x x )8

Yeah. I initially soaked them at 8 months. Then washed every few months after that with normal woolite, not woolite dark, and they were just washed in my bath tub, nothing special. Each time they were washed the fades were able to come in nicer, it's been about a year and. 8 months or Two years now.

Go with a 31 NS. Chances are, they'll stretch more anyway.
so would you say a 31 NS waist is slightly bigger than a 31 PS? just trying to confirm before i order
Check for yourself bro, you can use the charts on Context Clothing to figure it out: http://www.contextclothing.com/brand.php?brand=A.P.C.%20Denim

New to the APC game and just copped a pair of PS. Went to the Soho store and tried on a 28 and 29 (true size is about 31, and I'm 5'9", 130).

The 29 fits a bit tight, but I can button them all the way up with a bit of work. When I tried on the 28s they were like jeggings and I couldn't even button the top two buttons. And the sales woman also told me that I should've gotten a size down from the 29, but agreed that the 28 was way too tight. It's like there was no in-between. Should I be worried about the waist stretching out a lot on the 29?
Jul 21, 2013 @ 02:54
^Yeah the waist will stretch a ton but you can always just wear a belt
Jul 21, 2013 @ 05:51
^even if the waist stretches out too much, it was better that you got the 29 rather than the 28. people exaggerate how much the jeans stretch out other than the waist, if they fit like jeggings/skin-tight first wear, they will only stretch out so much - they'll still be od tight in the end.

hey everyone im new to APC and what not. just looking to see what size I should get. I generally wear a 28/29 then a 30 with a belt (which is somewhat big but it depends on the brand) what would you guys say I should get?
Jul 21, 2013 @ 09:09
Agree with Rekuso, if the jeans are skin tight the fit will pretty much remain the same. The legs wont stretch that much.

Baconmane- what cut are you looking for? Just measure a pair of your jeans that fit how you like and compare measurements. Start off with sizing down 2 or 1 and exchange if needed. Read a few pages and you'll find your answer

Get 29 and you'll be happy..I made a mistake and bought my first APC PS in 29 (but I'm true size 32 tho), and now I regret it as it is still too tight in waist after 5 months. I can button up, but it is not as comfortable as I would want..
