^ New Cure doesn't taper though, but NC -1 might be your thing. Anything more might be too skinny.

Anyway, found a pair in my old room. Forgot I bought these. NS

130 days of wear - wallet fade very evident, whiskers are more visible than honey combs
Also been hitting the gym since the beginning of this year, so you can see stitches loosening on the outseam.

PS sz28 - accounted for vanity sizing, so I think I went tts (30 waist). Not sure though because of the changes in APC sizing and all.

I am new to raw denim. I see alot of discussions like this that say to size down and it will strectch. Yet Levi 501 STF say to size up. I guess I consider STF to be the original Raw Denim.
Can anyone shed some light on the size down vs size up that Levi's says?

Thanks

not sure if trolling but STF literally stands for Shrink To Fit, so why the fuck would anyone have to size down on a jean you are meant to buy a few sizes bigger

The general response to this would be to NOT mess with them and let it settle naturally, but I completely disagree. It usually results in a leg break fit. What I suggest: Pull your stacks from the bottom leg opening upwards towards your knees (as high as your fit permits). -> Allow stacks to fall back down. I'm sure the guys over in the Dior thread can agree.

i suppose you're referring to mine. They're a bout a year and a half old, a soak at 8 months and a soak about a month ago. the fades are really coming in nicely after the second soak. will likely do a machine wash in the next few months

Hey guys, I'm a noob here getting my first APCs. I have two questions:

1. I am a 32 in N&F WG and I'm thinking of getting the Petite New Standards. What size would you guys recommend I get?

2. Would I need to size down? Has APC updated their size tagging, or should I still size down 1-3 sizes?

Also, where is the cheapest place online I can get this?

Thanks

i'm not familiar iwth N and F sizing, but it's safe to just take your normal jean size, like levis or soemthing you'd buy off the shelf at JC PENNEYS lol, and just size down 2.  if it's a 32 for you, 30 is fine.  i went down 3 with a NS, i'm a 30 wearing a 27 and they're very tight but it works and i think i'll be happy in another few months when they really stat to break in (it's been about 4 months).  cheapest place online?  im' not sure.  look around.  youre gonna end up paying around the same price unless you wait til they go on sale, im not sure when that is either.  again, i got mine from context and i think shipping was $10, they got here in 2 days.

by the way, all these type of questions and more would be answered if you just read say the past 20-30 pages of this thread.

i downsized two sizes and fit like a charm, at first they will be tight and uncomfortable but wait it out and will fit great
