Sup guys, noob here. So I recently washed my NS (first wash after 4 months) with woolite black, and I put them in the drier because I thought air dry meant no tumble. Retard move, I know. I took them out after 25 mins of air drying and hung them up and dried them. A lot of indigo dye got stained in my drier but the jeans didn't lose their dark indigo color. What was lost was the stiffness. So my question is, can i still get regular wear patterns even though they've lost the majority of the stiffness?
I made the same mistake with my first pair of raw's. Naked and Famous Black Selvedge, i was trying to shrink them and figured that if I washed them in hot water and then put them in the dryer that I could maximize the amount of shrinkage. With that said, I got the same result which was a flimsy awkward fitting jean. The only solution is to go and buy a fabric starch which should stiffen them up at least a little bit.
