Nordstrom does not carry APC in store.

yeah they do, you gotta either ask or look for them, they are hidden.
they just don't carry anything else except denim instore.

huh the one by me only carried designer jeans like diesel, True Religion other lame ones. although they did have PRPS which was surprising.

They do. I just got a pair of PS's today at Fashion Valley. And they also carry APC clothing like l/s and sweatshirts; not just the denim.

This is somewhat confusing lol. Did you pick up the PS at a Nordstroms or a different store like Barneys? I found it shocking the other day also that Nordstroms carries Naked and Famous also.

At Nordstrom. The Barney's closed down I think.

If you go to Fashion Valley, the APC gear is all the way at the back of the Men's section on the first floor. It's right in front of the register and Givenchy stuff. It's not a big APC section but it's there and they get restocks often (that's what they said).

Wondering if I can get some quick fit opinions. PS 31. They went on fairly easy (certainly tight, but not too hard to button up), but I'm not sure if I can go any tighter in the thighs. Not sure how much the thighs stretch—I certainly don't want them to stretch too much. Have them cuffed a bit high at the moment; I'll get them hemmed a few inches if I keep them.

Keep em! that's a real good fit in my opinion, I just wouldn't get them hemmed. I say have a smaller cuff and let em stack but that's just my preference

PS is pretty small. I would suggest you try on a 30 and a 31. I tried on a sized down two and it didn't fit but my body is different than yours.

thanks,as i have been backreading it seems to not matter if could not close the buttons down initially as i wear them for the first time.other people find that the buttons eventually do close all the way up after a few weeks of wear.

did the 30 you tried on not fit at all through your legs?i will probably try both.i am worried as to try the better fitting one (probably the 31) and pull the trigger only to regret it later if it stretches/loosens up down the road.

any suggestions about soaking upon initial purchase?

For reference I'm 150 5'6'' but I got thick legs, and the 30's didn't fit very well when I tried them on. I'm not a fan of wearing jeans so tight at first that you can't button it, I'd rather have little room and wear a belt. If you can you should really try them on and see. As for soaking some people soak and others don't before wearing. I personally just wear them and soak when needed.

Major - a size 29 measures 31 so no it shouldn't be uncomfortable. Then with the stretch, you'll be alright

true waist is a 32. If I'm going for a slim fit should I get a 31 or 30? Judging on what I tried on, a 32 is what I want, but i'm afraid it will stretch too big, a 31 is a little tight but will stretch and the 30 was tight. EDIT: Talking about PS.

but also i have a pair of washed(they came washed example of washed apcs) apc ps that are dirty, can washing affect any loss of color or anything, or is it ok to just throw them in the washing machine inside out?
