Thinking about getting some black new standards, anyone have experience on how they fade?

ive had 2 pairs and they dont really fade as opposed to the indigos and they arent selvedge either.

Krayzeez, those are fine.

My apc's were so freaking stiff when they came out of the first hand wash, but they were incredibly soft hours later. Just as long as you did a lot of rinsing to get any of the detergent out of the fibers, you're alright.

They're nowhere near as stiff as they were new, right?

looking to get some PS, measured my waist 31.
Should i go for a 28? I tried on some NF weirdguys in 29 and they didn't even fit..

Those ps are probably going to fit the same as the wg. I got deep indigo wg in 29 which is a slim fit on me. my waist is 29 and weigh about 120 and got ps in 27 which is pretty tight from mid thigh down.the upper thigh I got about an inch of space.

I would probably just size down two since you seem to be on the bigger side and for the fact that the wg's didnt fit

canada customs is holding my package... i called fedex and apparently they slapped duty fees onto it. this happened with my last package from cultizm too. UGH brings the total cost of my PS to $185. and there's no set date when it'll release. i paid express shipping too which now is a waste of $20 cause now i have no time frame of when ill get my jeans they better be worth it. so frustrated

Yeah those look baggy. Did you size down? I would size down at least more.

I sized down two from my true waist. I might ben able to go down 3 but after they loosened up they look good. Mine weren't as baggy as yours but some ppl here said they looked baggy. I can pinch like inch of fabric on my mid thighs.
The important thing is how you like them.but deff suze down at least one

That sucks, looking to get a new pair of PS myself but all the sites that sell PS use FedEx for shipping. And we all know FedEx=automatic brokerage fees.

And regarding the sizing, i've read a lot of stories that PS are no longer vanity sized. Can anyone confirm? Im eyeing a pair of PS in 32's and im a natural 34 waist...

they came in today, paid my $35. they fit great actually, not too much trouble buttoning up. shoulda gotten 28s though

i hope the fit doesnt change too much from this

honestly, when i tried them on the rise was too tight. i didnt want ballcrushers so i didnt size down further. The rise is pretty tight along the front. Ill wear a belt if they get too loose.. I kinda like the fit though. Its so hard to take them off and put them on!

yea i would say these are vanity sized. my true waist is 32 inches and i bought 29's. 27s didnt fit me though D: i think 28 would be perfect but oh well

YES and YES. (be careful doing -3 on ps unless you're really skinny)

^ DAT CUFF, you need to take a picture with them on how you'd normally wear them, will make it a lot easier for us to see how they fit. Those actually look like they'd fit pretty nicely if it wasn't for that 17 foot high cuff.

If the waist on those fits you well then I say stick with them. The stretching on them honestly isn't as extreme as people make it out to be.

ok just got the new standard sz 29, it was too baggy again, looks like I can't wear an a.p.c =(
but anyway, here is my ps sz 28 fit pic

but i'm not going to crush my balls just to wear a jeans lol , so maybe new standard sz 28 is my last chance, as I heard that it has a bigger front rise .. any opinion guys?

Why dont you just get some PS or even NC? The NS cut looks way to baggy for your frame (no offense)

They fit much tighter and take forever to fade. They're still great quality. They get like this greyish white fade. Not a big fan of the fades on those but the dark almost matte black color they have is really dope.
