Need some fit opinions!
So these are my second pair of APCs, they are Petit Standards
They're sized down 2 and are size 29, waist has stretched out perfectly now but just feel like they're too tight?
Stick with these and see how they turn out or go for new standards?

I'd stick with those. my ps were way tighter than that at the beginning

Okay, so which fit/ sizing fits like in between Levis 510 and 511? I want em maybe just a little tighter than a 511, especially at the leg opening. My unbranded skinnies are annoyingly large at the leg opening.
Also, apc's are lighter weight than unbrandeds correct? I don't like how stiff my unbrandeds are even at 6 months, theyre very uncomfortable compared to say, levis. Are apc's like "thinner" in material?

Cheers sharklin, I think I'll stick with them.

Me&MYNikes - I'd say APCs are a lot more rigid and starchy than unbranded brands, especially when you first get them, they can almost stand on their own brand new, after handful of wears they soften up a fair amount and if they're still too stiff (no homo) then you can just soak them

I'd stick with those. my ps were way tighter than that at the beginning


QFT, yours don't even look that tight for PS though. I'd be worried about them even stretching too much

The levi question has been answered before. I never tried on 510 but ps down 2 is slimmer than my 511s. Just order what ever and exchange if need be.

Fibre...i would keep those and from the pics the thighs dont look tight at all. I love my ps!i need to wear em harder tho, slight fades are starting and I'm exited to see how they turn up.

I typically wear western boots and was looking to invest in some raw denim that will last a while. My question is: are the leg openings in the New Standards large enough to accommodate boots, or should I get rescues and size down 3?

I got a size 30 and it fits perfectly. should i downsize 1 or 2? it was really easy to put on. no struggle with buttons. i want to look like that stretched out? or a little looser. any advice? should i return and buy 29 or 28? or leave it?

Just picked up my first pair, petit standards. One word....MONEY! best pair of denim I own, can't wait to see these bad boys broken in.

Linsanity they look good. I could button mine up with ease too. As of right now I dont button the top and they barely stretched any after about a month of wearing. I would do that and wear a belt or just wear a belt to keep stretching to min.

I say just stick with them man, That's a good fit. the stretching on APCs is something that is massively over exaggerated. The pair I sized down 2 on have been worn about 35 times and slept in about 6 times, and the waist still hasn't stretched much at all, and that's without a belt.

it really isnt exaggerated, youve only worn then 35 times thats why. my ns i had for almost a year and wore basically everyday stretched 4 sizes. And it fucked me over because i didnt size down enough.

after 15 months of wear and two washes.
its not like it stretched on its own, they were pretty tight. I could juuust barely button them new.
