Does anyone know if there's a place in Toronto that sells apc ps? I don't want to order a pair and send it back if it doesn't fit and pay all the shipping fees to send back and get a new pair.

Btw, I wear size 31, should I size down 2 or 3 for ps for skinnier fit.

I'd advise anyone to go no more than 2 down on PS.

So you're size 34 then right? So I think you should size down 3 on NS and 2 on PS from what DJosey said. Dunno bout the other styles. Correct me if I'm wrong.

So 31 for NS, 32 for PS

Had my APCs for bout 2 1/2 years and its got about 3 machine washes in it, I had a stain on it from some syrup once and i got some water and some dishwashing liquid and rubbed it off and the indigo came off with it. Anyone thinks Is it time for a ocean wash now, or should I just wash it in the machine again?

hand wash i filled up the tub about six inches, stirred in like 1/4 cup of detergent and soaked em an hour then rubbed em all together to loosen up the fabric in the water. machine was a speed queen at the laundromat.. plain old cold water and some detergent. washed em with a bunch of dress clothes gentle cycle. hang dry both times.
they're very soft now, but shaped like me smile

wash it in the machine again

why not?

i been wearing my apc petit standard for about 7 months and im thinking of soaking them in a couple months, but im kind of scared they will shrink in the waist considering they are already tight in the waist. how much will they shrink on the first soak?

Did you soak them when you first got them? If you didn't they're going to shrink a lot, so definitely do that shit in cold water. Probably lose 1 to 2 sizes.

cool ill, man. nice to see someone appreciative of their jawnz. i feel like now days, everyone is too worried about "if i size this way or that way"..."does the water have to be 15 or 25C when washing"... just wear, adapt, and love. props

hot soak = will shrink back to tagged size / how it was when you first bought them but will stretch back out really quick maybe after 1-2 days

cold soak = not much shrinkage

New standard tagged size 34.
I've had it tailored, tapered inside leg, from crotch to leg opening.
Leg opening is now measured 18cm.

Hey guys. I'd like to get some opinions on denim. Let's start with my measures:

I'm 135 lbs (61kg), 5'8'' (174cm). My true waist (above belly button, slimmest part) is 28''. My jeans waist is a solid 30''. My thighs are 16'' around and my calves are 14'' around. I'm not as skinny as some of the guys here, but you can say im relatively skinny.

I recently just bought some APC Rescue in a size 28, they did not arrive yet, but those will be my working jeans so they are supposed to be sorta baggy.

I'd like to get another pair of APCs, this time I want a slim (not skin tight) fit, to be my "go out" jeans, something like this:

What APC model and size should I go for to achieve that? I definetely don't want skin tight calves (like i have on my current Thin Finn sized 2cool, just a slim yet nice fit like from the person in the pic...

Also, just how baggy do you predict my recently purchased Rescues are going to look?

Thanks in advance, and sorry for the long post!

Same question. I wear 29x30 in 511's and I'm looking to get a pair of APCs with a similar fit.
