Hi Guys

This is actually a 2 part question ,

i bought a pair of apc ps tag 28 , the legs and thighs fits perfectly but the waist seems 1 inch loose even when i first gotten it . do you think i should bring it to the tailor for alterations and will it still retain the " originality " of the apc ?

Will the thighs and calves stretch cause the i like the fit currently .

Suggestions please !!!....

size down. the thighs and calves will stretch. I had the exact same prob and kept them, and now they're too big. I bought another sized down one and it's perfect after 2 weeks.

thinking of waiting till the summer to take a dip into the pacific with my jawnz. anyone ocean soaked before?

yeah i did it a few years ago on a vacation to hawaii. what i did was wear em into the ocean, attempt to run around for a few minutes go back out and rub sand all over em, and then run back in the ocean again. i repeated this process about 10-15 times i believe.

hey guys. i am looking to pick up a pair of new cures soon. right now, i use a pair of nudie tape teds (similar to thin finn) which are 30x32. The waist has stretched and gotten loose in 3 months, i think i should have ordered a 29. What size new cures should i get?

size approx. 2 tagged sizes down from your true size for new cures.

came out real nice, looking forward to trying myself. i'll be at around 8 months of wear when i have the opportunity. how many months/washes were you in?

^I believe when i did the ocean wash i was at 8 months as well, but it was either my second or third wash.

the waist will stretch fast. i'd be more worried about the leg opening not stretching enough.

need to do something about the bottom half of my new standards. not sure if i should go with a hem or taper. i'd rather go with a taper but i really dig the leg opening especially since i wear boots all the time.

some asshat drove through a puddle near me and sprayed me with nasty street water. I have some PS with about 12-14 days of wear now, and that happened 2 wears ago, and now they smell a bit. any way to get rid of the smell without washing them?

Uh. The most common are throwing them in the freezer or just soaking them. You can always just febreeze them too although that's the worst most tempoary solutione ver. lOL

does it matter if its a warm or cold soak? I assume the warm soak would shrink them a bit, but will it redistribute the dye?
