You could. But the fit would be slightly different from the knee down

How come you want to change into PS? Do you think youre NS are too baggy or something? If so, go with the 28s

Ya ya, looking for a more tapered fit. Fit in waist/thighs were great in NS but to wide in the calf area/leg opening..

If you think PS are too skinny, and dont mind a non-selvedge line then go with NC

have a Petit Standard size 28 with 4 uses, no fading, raw, not hemmed.. etc want to trade for a Petit standard size 27 also new.

NC are a little skinnier in the thigh but flare out at the bottom and are less tapered below the knee than PS.

PS is more like a NS with much taper below the knee.

dtgsigns - Personally, quality indeed has gone downhill slightly, but nothing TOO major. If you're really concerned about it, go get some 3sixteens.

I'm just curious because everyone raves about APC's. Last raw jean I bought was from GAP and I didn't like the fit. So I'm on the hunt for another pair of good raw jeans.

Thinkin APC for the fit and how the seem to fade pretty quickly. I'm really thin so I need something pretty skinny in the thighs and wont cause any flaring.

316 seems like nicer denim but not sure the ST will fit how I want.

Also people shouldn't get all caught up on things being made in China..whether these pants are or aren't made there. There's plenty of great quality items being made there.

Ok so here's the thing.. I bought a pair of NS tagged 28 and have since realized that I should have bought N&F and saved a lot of money. The problem for me now is that Context does not accept returns for refunds, only store credit. So now I'm looking to sell for a little less than I bought them for in hopes to sell faster.

look at the measurements to make sure they fit well. I would go 3sixteen, if I was aware of their quality before i bought my apcs thats what I would be wearing right now instead of my PS

I have looked at measurements...several times. 316 has different measurements depending on what site you go to. And when I hem them they're probably going to have a 7 inch or slightly bigger hem which I don't want.

i am thinking on sizig down 1 more, to a 27 because I want a fit similar to alex turner and jamie cook apcs:

back pocket folds are almost inevitable.... sizing down won't necessarily fix them. the fit looks really good already, i'd recommend staying with it

Nacho- What's you height and weight? Do you know your thigh measurement?

Just placed an order for PS 27. Hope they fit well and don't have to go down to 26. I was thinking a 6" hem would be too small but my size 29 Levi's 511 have like a 6.25 hem.

I'm 5'6 120lbs maybe less with a true waist of 29/30 where I wear my pants. It should fit just snug and hope I can control the stretch at the waist
