I’m sure this has been answered a few times already, and I apologize for not being able to look around for it.. But I am thinking of buying some APC NS's and I’m wondering how to size? I’ve heard size down 1 or size down 2? What do you think? I’m about a 29-30. Thanks for the help, it’s appreciated.
Also, whats the difference between NS and PS?

You need to take 2 seconds and do the research yourself...if you need any additional help then ask. You can probably find your answer on the previous page since this thread has at least 5 sizing questions per page. So quit being lazy.

since I'm already typing I'll just say size UP 2 on the NS for a skinny fit. They'll shrink with lots of wear so don't worry and you heard wrong about sizing.

There's two threads because this thread was jacked up several weeks ago. Post were not loading. It happened for the N&F thread to for about two days.

AFAIK, needsupply is the only online store that has a coupon code (FEBFORUM12 gives 10% off) that works for APCs. Still pricey though.

Go for a 27. Those look too roomy. However, I think the NS will be a better fit, personally.

get ready to abuse your hips if you go for the 27. the only thing about a 28 is that it fits the same as the 29 in terms of bagginess just a smaller waist. so if your looking for a skinnier fit, the size 27 ns is the absolute perfect skinny jeans fit

In that case, I don't think it's worth it to buy any pair of used denim that already has a decent fades on em... it kinda takes away the original purpose of going raw in the first place. Plus, you're gonna be putting on 6 month's of another dude's accumulated leg filth

Most raw denim enthusiasts (myself included) prefer to start off fresh with a pair of raw denim, so that every crease, fade, and nuance of wear is completely personal. That way, you can document (through pictures or words) the transition the jeans have made since the day you bought them, and you can proudly say that everything is 100% your own. There's definitely a sense of self-satisfaction in this, and it's why many denim purists choose to strictly stay with new denim.

Having said that, some people don't care about any of that and are strictly in it for the fades/appearance. I mean, that's all anyone who buys non-raw denim cares about, which is why the market is dominated by pre-distressed jeans. Personally, I find that it somewhat diminishes the point of raw denim to buy pre-owned, but that's just my opinion! I've seen some nicely faded pairs that have had several owners, such as the Scrawny 13 on Context Clothing's Fading Indigo archive. Live and let live, it's your denim after all!

Unfortunately, I'm not one to give an appraisal on those, so I can't help you there. But if you are content with the purchase you made, that's all that should matter.
