I'm a 33" waist, although I wear 32's in Nudies.(and most denim). Would a 32" in NC be okay? I really don't want a skinny fit, although I'm worried the waist in the 32" NC will stretch out too much. I tried on NS in a 31" and I found the fit a bit baggy for my taste. I own a pair of PS in 30" and find them too tight overall and the back rise a bit small.

Sizing these is pretty difficult!

The waist stretches out pretty quickly. Make sure you're happy with the thighs and calves before buying as the denim won't stretch as much there.

I think that you should be wary of how much the thighs stretch, they do sretch a lot, but yea finding a god fitting waist isnt too big of a deal as long as its not too small. Dont worry too much about waist stretch cause you can always wear a belt, just dont get some that are gigantic out the bag. Also, when you use the quote after the size its hard to tell whether or not your talking about the tag size or the actual waist measurement. A size 31 PS is not the same as a 31" PS

edit: you shouldnt try reselling these so quickly, wear them out until they are done stretching (about 20 or so wears depending on usage) you will be surprised how much they stretch. I thought mine were a lil tight but now they fit great. I wish I had before and after fit pics so you could see exactly how uch these stretch, its no joke

Thanks for the response. My PS are tagged 30 (33" waist). Definitely too small for me as I don't want a skinny fit. I also find the rise too small.

I see what you mean about using " to describe the tagged size.

I'm hoping a 31 Tagged pair of PS standard will work better for me, otherwise I'll give up on APC.

Are you sure you don't want the New Standard? The New Cure is the slimmest and you say you don't want skinny. Although, since you're only sizing down by one, you've probably already taken this into account.

I still think that since you seem to have plenty of guap, that you should try and wear out the 30 ps you have until they are completely stretched. Mine were almost sking tight out of the bag, but you can view my fit pics of how they fit now

i usually wear a 28-29 that would be my true size. i want to grab a pair of the PS. I tried on a pair of nc's in a 28 cus they didnt have my size in the ps, and they were tight as fuck pulled up all the way. I want to be able to eventually sag em on the hips a bit so what size should i go?

These look good. Did the back rise stretch at all - how do you find that?

I'd size down 2 to be safe. Lots of people sized down 3 (same sizing as NS) for their PS though. Depends how bold you are.

i think even sizing down 1 will suffice
if youre worried about waist stretching wear a belt
but as for the overall fit the ps in general is already skinny

yo, just got my first pair of apc NS. they are tagged 29, and previously worn 2 weeks and have stretched to 31...i am a little worried the waist will stretch more, i can button all the buttons comfortably. i like the fit in the thighs, but am considering having a tailor taper down below the knee just a little. also not sure if i should hem or let stack. opinions for a brother?

I agree with getting them tapered. Maybe consider hemming just a bit off? I think the waist will stretch a bit more too.

Comparison of my 26 PS to my 28 NS:

I know most here will disagree with me, but I like the TTS NS a lot more then the PS. Skinny guys like me can't pull off super tight jeans like the PS. Plus, the leg opening on the PS was really small, to the point of I couldn't get them off.

Who here as experience getting their APCs tapered? I want to get my NS tapered because the leg openings are huge. I'm kind of scared to get them tapered though because I think the tailor will fuck up or something.
