shits lookin ill my friend keep it up, I think you should wait for a lil more contrast to wash like at 6 months it should be cool cool

edit: bored so took my evo's. imo these are coming out much better than I thought for only 2.5 months of total wear.. too much sun exposure causing that red tint sorry fam

I got a size 30 new cure.. When I tried them on the top button did not fit, after about 2 hours of wear I could do the top button but it was still kind of tight. I'm on my 2nd day and they are getting better, I really dislike the stacks because they look dumb, usually I have pants with smaller leg openings (right now its around 7.5in I believe) so they always stack easily. I basically love everything about the jean except the fit from halfway down the knee. Maybe I'm just not used to it yet. I'm thinking of tapering them a bit more.
I now have a few questions.

Should I have sized down?
Why do my stacks suck (specifically the back)? I am 6ft tall, maybe that's why, or does it depend on the shoe? ill try to get another pic
Cuff even though it's non selvedge? I've always liked the cuffed look but is it a fauxpas if it is not selvedge?
What shoes would be best to wear with the new cure fit? About everyone on lookbook wears it with some variation of low vans, but then I have absolutely 0 stacking lol.

1st raw dnm so bear w/ me.

ROFL Uhh APC denim is selvage..... Stacks suck because you prolly tried fuckin with them instead of letting them fall naturally. And im 6'2" and have stacks with vans so idk how thats possible. I wear janoskis and boat shoes with mine personally though

edit: oh no shit youre 6'0 and a size 30 thats why you dont have any stacking going on, I think thats the waist size cutoff for the longer inseam. I would go up to a 31 so you get the longer inseam and more leg room. Be warned these will stretch alot and the fit doesnt look too tight right now so up sizing is a lil dicey

The new cure does not have the selvedge finish, that is what I was referring to. Do they sit ontop of your vans? because mine just hang off the back and is totally flat

Read my edit, you might just be too skinny for the fit you want

sizing up will not give you a longer inseam, they will always be a 34 inseam no matter the size.

Thinking about starching my NS’s. What brands do you guys recommend that don’t smell like ass? And do you have to iron them after spraying?

Don't think water makes your jeans as stiff as starch does. And you run the risk of losing indigo.

Copped a pair of NSs tagged size 28 and been wearing them around the house today. Should I soak them or or not and what are the cons if I don't?

if you soak, you lose a bit of rigidness&indigo
not really any cons if you don't soak them

Eh yeah dont get me wrong the stacks look great but on all 3 pairs of apcs ive owned ive sized down as much as possible and they have all streched out way too much. Just going to get samurais or something next. I want real jeans. For reference I am like 6'2 or 6'3

I think APC's get a bad rap because most people size wrong or don't know how to wear properly.

Look around there are tons of evo and fit pics that prove APCs can hang with the big guys.

thanks dude.
i'll keep posting pics. i'm putting a lot of work into them. been sleepin' in 'em and biking a good 45minutes to work in them too. probably won't go for that whole "year without washing" thing.. I'll go until I know they're dirty, then soak 'em, then hope for a saltwater wash sometime over summer '12.
