cold soak won't make it shrink
i think if you wear them damp they'll loosen up a bit

when i bought my sz27 apcs i had a 30 waist, those are going to be tight IMO.

My PS is 29 when I bought it but it's now ~31 and my waist is 29-30.
The 27 is going to be very tight, I don't know if you wan wear it if your waist is 30 like me...!

just bought NCs 31 and the waist is perfect, but the thighs are tight as hell and can barely lift leg above knee. should i expect stretching or give up on NCs and go for a more straight leg jean? thanks

They are fine. When I first bought my PS sized down 2 I couldn't lift up my leg past my knees for two weeks. 1month later its completely fine.

New Cures taper a lot more drastically below the knees compared to Petit Standards. There are probably more differences, but that's the main one.
