^ Either a 30 or 31 NS would be your best choice in cut.. Depending on your actual waste though, if u are a 33 waist get a 30 and if u are a 34 get a 31..

A slim look is down 3, almost give u the NC look but alittle more room.. U can go down 2 but alot of people who do always end up saying they wish they went down another one.. Down 1 is baggy, if thats the look u are going for then yeah but most people want em slim, like this guy...

you hear alot of people say NS down 3 fit like a tts or sized up 1 levi 511.. And use Imcools reference for down 3, add about .5 to everything though(leg opening, knee, thigh)

My true waist is 30 and im thinking of getting a ps 27 downsize 3. any comments for that? Anyone here encounter apcs being too tight to the extent that they cant be worn? Or is it better for me to downsize 2, but have been seeing too many people saying that they are regretting not downsizing 1 more on their ps(they downsize 2).

I looked up on contextclothing sizing guide and have any questions about it.

Do the tagged size 27 mean that a brand new pair of tagged size 27 would measure 29 on the waist or do they mean that the 29 on the waist is AFTER stretching?

Personally I regret not sizing down to a 29, got a 30 instead and the waist and thighs have stretched alot. They still look okay but I need to wear a belt now. Also I didn't know once you got below a 30 the leg opening is a little smaller which I would have preferred, only slightly but still. Again though its different for everyone..

Dont do any wash if they dont need it... Every is so quick to think u have to wash at a year, i mean if they smell and are all grimey then give em a hot wash.. But u can also just give em a hot soak just to get the grime off em, if u dont think u really need to wash em..

vvl:I advise not going down 3 on a PS, I would say only go down 2 to a 28, you might regret how tight there are when u put them on.. Remember only the thigh and waist are going to stretch, barely any stretching in your calves..

Has anyone ripped a button off their jeans from stretching them to fit? I am looking at the stress being put on these buttons and it looks like they're about to burst. I'm scared to sit!

Oh man im stuck with the decision of whether to get a PS in 27 or 28... I wanted to get PS in 27 (downsize 3, my true waist is 29.5~30) but my friend said it would be depressing if i could not fit into them. however im also afraid that the PS would stretch too much i were to get them in a 28. Im 5'7 and 134lbs. what you guys think? I need opinions!

I think it's best if you do two. If it's to stretch too much at the waist, you can just buy a belt. They won't stretch too much. Your height and weight would make it possible to size down three, but I wouldn't take the chance at all. Three sizes down is a lot in my opinion.

If you guys take a closer look at both of these PS tags they are actually different. Anybody know why is that so?

My APC's came in today. My first pair ever. I had the Levi 501 STF's but said F it, and sold those to my brother and just went with the high-end denim. I sized down 3 with these New Standards (struggled to get the last button or two). I'm about 5'7", 5'8", do you guys think I need to get these hemmed? Not sure if the stacking looks terrible to others, but it doesn't look bad to me.

Don't get it hemmed, stacks are fine. I just think that it's a bit baggy in the thighs though, but that's just me =/
