Hey guys. I'm new here. If you have any denim questions hit me up. For the guys who have worn they're denim for over 6 months without washing them, do not wash them. It may sound gross but later on it starts to form to your body and it starts developing natural whiskers. If you're worried about it smelling then leave them out in the sun for a few hours. The heat will kill the odor. smile

How do I prevent the white creases that popped up after I washed my jeans? I want my jeans to be blue like when I first bought them but people keep telling me to NOT wash them? And even more confusing is that I have people complementing me on these faded spots... confused

Wait, i thought the "in look" for blue denim jeans is to wear them when they're blue? That's why its called BLUE jeans right? LOL.....

here's a quick picture of my pair of APCs after 2 months. i don't really like the color now that i washed them... particularly the creases in the back of the knees.

That was the problem...you shouldn't have washed them after only 2 months.

Is your selvege line all fucked up now? I have found no tailors that will taper from the inside. Sucks.

I guess you need a special machine to taper from the inside and match that hem/stitching that not many places have.

After my taper my selvedge line is gone. No big deal for me as I don't cuff anyways. I know they're the real deal.

I'm starting to feel this way as well after seeing pictures. I'm going to go as long as possible without washing (1 yr +)and when they do need a cleaning always do a low agitation cold water soak to remove as little indigo as possible

what? apc's are awesome when they're washed out and faded as hell. Otherwise, higher quality japanese denim have much better indigo-retention and contrast properties.
