My new cures size 31. 10 months probably 8 months hard wear and one cold wash at 6 months. Also had one huge crotch explosion and repair.

Size down 3 New standard or size down 1 Petit standard for a skinny/tapered fit? Like a 511.

I tried on petit standard size down 1, and legs were skin tight but the waist was already perfect.. im not sure if it will stretch out to what i want..

i've seen some people hot soak pretty early & i'm just wondering how long you did your first soak & how it turned out for

and to clarify things, im going to hot soak them as soon as they start to wreak, not anytime soon.


What im saying to u, is there is no point in soaking after 2 months.. I see people do it, cause they think the jeans will fade faster... But there is no point in soaking unless u really have too. I waited for 8 months before i soaked em(recently soaked).. I didnt want to but they smelled bad, had a bottle of champagne spilled on em(Stale booze not a good smell), and had some shit on em.. Now im going to go get em tailored to fit better..

I try the New Standard Denim when I'm in NYC...I refuse to buy online because of the sizing. I normally wear 34 or 36.

just replaced my ns with a brand new pair from context and it didn't come with the pin, just a tag. kinda lame.

I heard they arent doing the pin..
I got a black of black PS earlier this year with no pin..didnt even want to bother asking the sales rep..looked too annoyed to bother about a pin.

btw I've never seen any quality denim at nordstrom..pretty strange to see that there..I was at my local Barneys Co Op at South Coast and the place was pretty empty of mens clothes..all the things were on sale..had some APC but none in good sizes,,all fatty.Was going to buy a pair.

she did not say specific, if south coast had em i woulda got my sis to pick up in my size.

ill go check friday and let you guys know, cause if anything you can go to southcoast and have em order to their store for free (again what i was told)

My true waist is a 30.5 and i want to get a pair of new standards in a 28. Im sure theyll fit well in the waist but what bothers me is the thighs. I measured and my thighs are 22 inches around. Would 22 inch thighs make sz 28 new standards look skin tight?

Ahaha for now yeah, I don't wear them much now + I get tired of repairing them, atm it's on like the 3rd repair job lol. As for sizing, idk to be honest since I've gained a few. I'd say I went down either 1 or 2.

Hmm.. im going to make some calls tomorrow.. Cause i know most Nordstrom have been pulled from APC.. But shit imm grab a whole size run if i can, get 30% off, thats 2 for the price of one!!
