all i've worn is 501stf and urbanoutfitters unbranded, they both fit me well but i got bigger quads from hockey and usually have trouble finding jeans that fit. 514's fit me good. what apc should i look at?

i'd say new standards. the other cuts; new cures & petit standards, look weird on people with big calves or thighs.

PS are meant for people who want more thigh room and taper.
^yeah size 2 from your true waist. ie, if you have a 30 waist buy a tagged 28.
ps are skinny jeans. and imo dont look good are people with muscular or fat thighs/legs. even if they have more thigh room. i've yet to see someone with big legs/thighs pull off petit standards well.
do you mean size down 2 from your true apc waist? or from your levis waist?

if i measure my waist with measuring tape around my waist, it's 29 inch, but if i measure the waist on my denim its 32 inch. which one should i use?
Just received my size 29 new standards in the mail from context. Im going to order a 28 and compare the fit. which ever i dislike im going to throw in the marketplace. Soo be on the look out for a Brand new pair of New Standards for discount!
