My NS's don't fit like that, a little loose because I'm skinny and short also. Wish I tapered mine before or got PS instead.

Yeah, I definitely would've preferred PS, but I got these NS for 30 bones. I'm not complaining. cool

I think I'm gonna get these shits hemmed today. I hate stacks, and if I cuff, that ugly ass wide selvage shows. Haha.

Shiiit. Ya'll soaking and washing so early. I've only done an initial soak and i'm 8 months in. wash at 12 months.


This, I waited a year to wash mine, looking nice and good future for more fading.

Have you thought of tapering? I still have no idea what to tell a tailor to get a PS like fit... I have NS size 29.

So i want to buy a pair of NC's, Im thinking about getting a 28 because i am regularly a 30 waist, and i am also wondering if i should get the NC or the PS and taper them if theyre too big. thanks for the haelp

Are they tapered in the photo on the last page? How much did you get them tapered? What did you tell the tailor?

^ Yeah, they're tapered.

I told my tailor to taper from the knee down (knee = 13" down from crotch) to 7".

The selvage is a lot wider (ugly), so I'm hemming them again.

I just got a new pair of petit standards size 26. My normal waist size for unwashed jeans is 30 so I think that is sizing down 2 since they're vanity sized. The fit is nice through thighs and legs not too tight but the waist is really tight I can button all the buttons except for the big top one. How long will it be before it stretches out because I heard A.P.C stretches a lot. Should I sleep in them to see if that will stretch it out?

^^ take a spray bottle and spray them until they are wet enough that u feel it, and just wear at home till they dry.

mostly just spray near the waist, thighs, crotch area

What u think is nicely faded, to them they might not be.. But how it works is u bring in your APC's, they will look at em, inspect em, if they feel they are worth putting in the Butler collection, they give u have price on a new pair of your choice.. But they are very picky on what they choose because they are cleaning em them puttin a tag on em to sell..

I was going to get my first pair of APC New Standards. Im around a 31/31. I read I should size down 2-3, do I size down the waist and the inseam 2-3 or just the waist?

Just the waist. The inseam will be the same no matter what size.

so i ordered some new cures 28 and new standards 27 (TTW size 30) from the denim bar with the intentions of returning a pair. The new cures are the tightest pants ive ever tried to put on, like my middle school sister's jeans tight, and i have reall skinny legs. The new standards aren't as bad, but the inseam seems short (like 32) and i cant get the top 2 buttons anywhere close. i would post pics of the NS but im not at 25 posts razz (is there any other way i can postconfused
