160lbs 5'9" APC NS 28.. 2 days worn
I like these so much I've decided I want to get a pair of NCs or PSs.. do I want to size up one from my NS size? When I got my NS top button was too tight too button, and is starting to feel like a perfect fit.
do new standards really stretch that much? i usually wear a 30 in even steven nudies and thats my true size, they stretched about a good inch. would you guys recommend me just staying with a 30?
did you size down two on these? solid fit.
and you should size up as you go onto the tighter fits if you want to maintain that fit, unless you want skin tight swag

I sized down 3 I think.. it's hard to tell because I wear 30W Diesels which are supposedly ~1-2 sizes big.. and I sized down to 28 for the NS, so technically I sized down 3 or 4. If I wear the NS at long periods my hips become sore as eff though since they're so tight, but I think it'll stretch to be perfect.
@ichris: I wear a 31 Nudie Slim Jim and a 28 APC NS if that gives you any clue to how much these stretch. I would say size down 2 from your Nudie size.. I sized down 3, but my Nudies fit looser than I'd like.
If your waist is 30 and you went with a tagged 28 you didn't size down you just essentially got a size 30. If your waist is a 31 then you sized down 1.

I'm talking in terms of APC sizing.. not what it stretches to. I am a size 28 in APCs, and a regular size 31 or 32 waist in other jeans. So yes that would be 3-4 sizes down from my other jeans. 32 - 28 = whattttomgicantdomath

Yes as am I. An apc tagged 28 measures out to 30. So if you are a measured 30 and you get a tagged 28 you didn't size down you essentially got a size 30. If you're a measured 31 and you picked up a tagged 28 you sized down 1.

I want to buy a pair of NS bad, but the knee bulges that come after 3 weeks of wear are terrible. It seems like the only sizes that don't stretch are tagged 27 and lower, but my true wiast is a 31 and I dont want to have to size down 4 sizes. What is I gone do?
If I get a pair of NC along with my NS will the fades turn out pretty similar with just a skinnier cut? I wanna get some skinny raws, but I don't know if 2 pairs of APCs is overdoing it.
