Hey guys, I'm looking for a pair of denim that will fit similar to my APC NS (sized down two) that I am looking to retire. My budget is anything $200 and lower. As much as I'd like to cop another pair of these, I really want to try another brand. So if anyone has any suggestions please let me know, thanks.

anybody know the APC store's (american) return/exchange policy? I tried looking on the website but nothing came up.

Wondering if I could exchange my only tried on pair of apc nc for a pair of nc in size 28 or ns in size 27. I don't have the receipt since i bought them from somebody off of iss, so I would basically be returning only the jeans + the pin. The jeans are also unwashed/soaked and completely unaltered, just been collecting dust in my closet for like a month.

pretty sure you need a reciept

Places will sometimes let you exchange without a receipt for the same thing but in a different size. I was pretty lenient with exchanges when I worked retail...

It's worth going into the store to try. Just be nicesmile

Okay I have a dire question that I have literally seen many many different responses to.

After multiple washes/soaks does the inseam of APC jeans shrink or not?!

I have searched superfuture, styleforum, hypebeast, and other random forums to find that they can shrink anywhere from nothing to 3 inches...

Is there anyone out there who have personally washed/soaked their APC jeans multiple times and can help answer if the length of the jeans shrink at all and exactly how much?

Pretty sure they will shrink a bit.. as will any fabric/material when you wash them. To minimize, just make sure to wash in cold water and hang dry. If they do indeed shrink, you can always wet stretch the inseam.

I actually want them to shrink. I'm thinking of hemming them up some but don't want to get screwed by possible inseam shrinkage after a wash

I've soaked mine in hot water for like 40 minutes straight, refilling it.
They shrink on the inseam like 2 to 3 inches, and the indigo bleeds like mad so you better throw some vinegar with it.

So I had my true waist size measured prior to buying a pair of NS, and it is 34. However, most of the denim/pants that I wear are size 33. I purchased a pair of NS size 32, and this is what they look like on the first wear. They don't feel too tight, and in fact there is still a little bit of room left when I stretch the waist. I hear that when you buy a pair of APCs, you should have trouble buttoning them up, but I had no trouble at all. I am unable to sag the pants/denim that I usually wear in size 33. However I do plan on sagging these. Thus, I am not sure whether I should just keep them or exchange for a size 31. I feel like most likely they will be too big, and my gut feeling is that I should exchange them, but then I also reason that I shouldn't exchange them because I plan on sagging anyway. Anyways, what do y'all think I should do?

idk im looking for something of a naked and famous weird guy fit. I want the tapered leg but some room in the thigh. I'm a 30-31 in reg jeans but idk what I should get to get that tapered fit with upper leg room.

27-28 new standard?
or
29-30 new cure?

when you say "size down 3" or "size down 2" is that from true waist or from tagged size?

say I was 30'' true waist. If I sized down 3 what tagged size would it be

Watch who you ask... When we say size down 3 (let's say from a 30"), you'd get a tagged size 27. But Hova would say get a 24 or 25 or something smh

dunks, if your waist is a 30 and you wanna size down 3 for new cures, you would need a tagged size 25 (which has a 27 waist). if you want new standards, you would again get a 25 (27 waist).

when people say size down, it literally means sizing down from your actual waist size. so if your waist is 30, and someone tells you to size down two, find the tagged size that corresponds to a 28 waist.

a tagged size by itself is useless unless the specific brand and style of denim is known. each company has a different way of "tagging" sizes.

now, when people talk about "size XX" of whatever denim, they are ALWAYS talking about tagged sizes unless they are dumbasses.

always check sizing charts for the denim that youre gonna buy to make sure you didnt fuck up. look here:

www.contextclothing.com/item.php?id=29

a 26 would have a 28 waist (+2), while a 33 would have a 34 waist (+1). its not consistent at all, so you have to make sure.

you guys need to stop mixing up all this shit. fuck.
