^ What are you talking about? 501s are regular cuts. APC NS's do fit slimmer and stretch a rediculous amount so be careful on sizing issues.

Regular cuts = baggy and shapeless. You just re-affirmed my statement, while confusing yourself into thinking that you provided a rebuttal.

I have two pairs of NS. A freshly washed, and tumble dried pair becomes slightly tighter than the original deadstock fit. Ofcourse, since the integrity of the denim is lost after the wash (and constant wear), it stretches quite easily.

i actually just copped some rescues.

they were real stiff when i tried them on.. and even for 4 hours or so when i rocked them. but when i took them off and put them on in a day or so, they were loose and they had gotten so fucking big.

i'm a 32, and i copped a 29 and it's stretched to what seems like a little bigger than 32.

i'm interested in copping some cures. are they too tight like the new cures?

Yeah or you could just soak them, but the "stiffness" is what allows the formation of honeycombs and whiskers. meow.

regular cuts are not baggy and shapeless... and ive never had a pair of 501 fit me baggy. maybe if you bought the proper sizer they would fit like they were ment to.

I'm getting them tapered as well hopefully this weekend. I'll post the results after I get em done. I want them to fit more like a pair of Nudie Even Stevens, but I like the thigh more in the NS so I guess a trip to the tailor will do the job.

i might get my rescues tapered.. i just want my leg a little bit shorter.

i don't know too much about tapering. where could i get that done?

Any reputable tailor should be fine, as you are just altering the opening a bit. I think they can open up the inseam to taper it which leaves the selvedge untouched.

My new standards i got in size 31...my waist is a 33 and my hips are a 34 where i wear my denim...After a month of wear they measured 36 and got too big. So basically since they start at a 32 they stretched a good 4 inches which is rediculous. I'm either ganna buy another pair in size 30 even though i can proba fit in 29 or go see what they have at dior cause i like the fit of those how you can sag them like the NS's and you don't look like you have a bubble butt.

Such antagonistic words from the new mod. Not everyone is shaped like Alley McBeal, you hipster. A proper size in domestic 501s, do not constitute hip-hugging fits. Nor do non-local 501s like LVCs and others from Japan and other overseas countries. Otherwise, Levi's would have never introduced 511s and other recent additions to their line up. In addition, there would be no need for other brands to develop such marketing thrusts towards slimmer, and more tapered jeans if Levi's 501 truly offered what most people like you are looking for.

Put that in your sig. and eat it.

he never mentioned that 501s have a skinny fit....501s are a relaxed fit meaning..not so tight..not so baggy

it's up to how they fit...
if u want the pants shorter in length you HEM it
if you want it to be skinnier at the bottom than you TAPER it

Hello.

I wear 33 x 32 in CHEAP MONDAY and they've stretched out (love the cutting). I am looking at the sites and I can't really tell what the real difference is between the NEW CURE , or NEW STANDARD ??

I want somethin similar to CHEAP MONDAY and a slim fit considering the fact that they stretch out, but I don't like nut huggers.
