^^That's probably where I went wrong with NS. I only sized down about 1.5" (i'm true in between 33 and 34) and got NS in 32. I wore them for a couple of minutes and didn't like the fit below the knees and just sold them.

The NS cut is tapered enough that I don't get heal drag at all. They sit perfectly on a pair of authentics, reach the end of the shoe just enough so that they don't touch the ground.

And plus I wear my jeans very slim (NS down 3), there's other who don't like the slim fit at all.

And yes I beleive ns sized 3 down is perfect. I only sized down 2 on my current pair. But I will probably get blk ns one more size smaller. I have to compare the new cures as they might give me a better fit.

which is why i don't want to go with the NS cut, heel drag will be inevitable...atleast for me

they dont drag.

i have some low top fans and i my ns dont drag with them.

and i only sized down.... none...

How does this sizing thing work?

I know your supposed to size down, but according to context clothing the APC sizes are two sizes larger than tagged. Am I supposed to size down from the tagged size or the fit size?

If I want something similar to Levis 501s in 32, what size in NS should I get?

Does the legs stretch too, or is it just the waist?

This is probably asked before, but I couldn't find it.

^ if u want a pair of APC in compared to Levi 501, NS's arent your cut because the leg opening is smaller.. U would have to get APC Rescues in like a 29.. The waist and thighs will stretch..

Sad day. Just ripped my APC's near the crotch. Hopefully the repair goes well. I've had them since mid January, still unwashed.

tapering is the leg opening, but more like the opening size from the knee down.
lol, you have to know that the leg opening size changes as your WS changes. so all you guys complainig about not tapered must be fattah ;O.

FOR NS:

Size down 2 for slim
Size down 3 for skinnier

FOR NC:

size down one 1 is fine

was talking to a lady in the la store she told me NS sizes up 1.5.

doubt it though, because ive had em for 2 weeks and i sized down 2 and theyre stretching a lot

^ALL APCs r vanity sized so they run 2 sizes bigger in the waist, you can always size down more than 2 cuz it can stretch more than 2 sizes depending on wat you do while wearing ur APCs

A tagged 30 would actually be a 32 so you should get a 30.
To account for stretching or a skinnier fit you can also go down to a 29.

Uhhhhhhh. My NS don't have any heel drag with authentics. Maybe the larger sizes do because the leg opening gets bigger.

depends where u live? azalea in SF sells APC's and im pretty sure you can try them on, i havent been there though but will soon to get my first pair smile
