u don't need to size down, that's just hype, go true to size when ur dealing with NC or NS

if ur a true waist 30 then buy a 30 , if ur a true waist 32 go 32

^sizing is all dependent on how u like to wear ur jeans and ur own body, there is no universal sizing tht can guarantee the right sizing other than trying them on. No need to complain about mixed sizing tips when ur not even willin to go try a pair on for urself

Although this is my second pair of APC's, I'm now sort of confused on the different cuts. I currently own a pair of NS sized down 3 (about 4 months ago) and they stretched quite a bit (3 sizes in the waist....maybe more sad ), and I want to try a new cut. I was originally going to go with something slimmer and just get NC down 1 size, but now I'm considering PS. I know that PS is basically a low-rise version of the NC, but some little specifics are throwing me off. What are the differences in areas like the thighs? Are the bottom of the leg openings the same on both cuts? Do they stretch similarly or do I need to size down more on the PS?

Anyways, I posted pics of my NS when I first got them, so it'll be cool to post before and after pics. And to anybody thinking about APC's, please read this thread and size down accordingly. You'll hate yourself if you don't and your jeans don't fit right.

look on pg415 of the thread for the APC cut outlines tht'll help u out. Major differences between PS and NC, PS has lower rise, roomier thighs, and more tapered

i have a pair of new standards (6'0, ~150 lbs). normally a size 30, sized down to 28.

i am definitely glad that i didn't get new cures. NS already feels fairly slim on me, and people have already called them "skinny jeans". i can't imagine how tight NC would feel...

Well, most people call any jean that isn't boot cut a skinny jean.

Ah ok, makes sense. Looks like I'm probably going with the PS now haha, thanks.

edit: what's the size down rec for PS? Down 1 like NC or should I size them like I sized my NS?

The tighter you wear them, the more likely the crotch is to blow out just like any other jeans. I haven't heard any problems as of yet though.
