Size 34 New Standards


About 10 wears after

Still a bit stiff, so stacking's a bit off, but hoping they will soften up and stack more naturally after a few more wears

funny, i wear the same size as you...and i got people on this forum telling me i'm some fat bastard. lol...


A lot of kids on here are on the shorter side. I'm 6'6, not fat... Im just a skinny giant kid with a cylindrical build. I definitely don't have to cuff or hem my APCs. Interestingly enough, I actually found a super slim jean that doesn't look that bad in 36. The puma x evisu slim actually can be worn by a big dude without his balls bulging out, or looking like a thick chick. Now if only I could figure out how to rack a pair... fuck the puma store.

That's cool diors fit like APCs. I want a grey pair even more now. I'm going to get around to washing my APCs in the next week. I'll post some pics when I do.

yeah, that's what I was thinking, the 19 cm's right? other than dior though, any other brands? dior's cost about 500 here in canada.


you can find diors on sufu for like 300 shipped to canada.

6'6?! jesus-fucking-christ. i'm "only" 6 foot, and i have to cuff those fuckers...and i still get a grip of stacking at the bottom. i'm not really in love with that look, so i'm considering taking them in to be altered. kind of makes me look like some sloppy, tongues-out-of-my-sneakers, hypebeast kid.

and i totally feel you on those pumas. when i tired them on, i really fell in love with the fit. my wife convinced me otherwise, stating that the logos on the back pockets are going to be fully out of style next year and i'd regret buying them.

if it wasn't for those mcdonalds arches, i would own a pair.

They don't, only the old cure's came in black and they're not easy to find. Dior does have a nice cut, but the fact that everyone has a pair is due to hype.

you know, for 95% of the things i purchase i follow that "buy what i like" motto...

but for something as pronounced as that painted on "gull" logo...it's very identifiable and becomes dated very, very quickly.

the same applies for quite a few other brands...look at bathing ape. pretty popular when introduced, now just a couple years it's looked upon as cancer. look at all these kids walking around in 80's gear and oakley frogskins...sure, they "bought what they liked", but they look like real assholes.

as much as some of you want to fight the "man", dare to be different, and not conform to society...at a certain age and lifestyle it's just the way things go.

I'd say rescues fit more like stf, since there is no taper and they are a straight fit. I think the NS is cut a bit slimmer.

501s are baggy, and shapeless. APC NS have are slim and stack nicely for most average height persons.
