Fit on the PS looks good .sm, I don't see a reason to change cuts unless you don't like your own fit.

If you are someone who tends to wash their denim frequently then raw denim is probably not for you.

i dont like to wash my jeans at all. I'll wash them if they get super disgusting though haha. i was just curious, becuase, say if i got a brand new pair of APCs and after maybe after 3 months or so, it stretched out so much, that i decided to wash them to shrink them again. Would that be bad idea?

Theres no point in washing them to shrink because they will just go back to normal after 1 wear

But if you insist on shrinking them, give them a hot soak, not wash

I just did some custom zig zag crotch reinforcements on my new cures. I might post some pics if anyones interested.

Edit: Whenever I feel like my APC's are not fading, I look at pictures like the ones above me when they were brand new and am amazed at how dark they used to be

best thing to do if you want to clean a pair of raw denim is just give them a soak, or wash them in woolite black and let them air dry

Dont wash em! Soak em, they will shrink up a bit after u air dry them out! Also i always spray alittle fabreeze while they are drying, so they have a fresh scent like i actually washed em!

Skateboarding or biking are the best ways I found to stretch denim or it will cause them to rip/blowout, luck has been good so far though.

skateboarding worked the best for me too

Just to get this straight for my first purchase. I normally wear size 32 jeans so I can sag, but I am probably more of a 31 true size. So I want a fit around the sized down 2 look - should I take the 29 or 30?

depends on what cut you are looking for.

i'd say down 2 for NS and 1 for NC

i decided to keep and been wearing them all day. i have a feeling the waist might stretch a bit bigger than my liking. but i have thunder thighs and they feel a bit fitted right now.

which is why i decided to keep the 33's. because the thighs lol.

Okay so this has been bothering me for the LONGEST time

APC tagged size 28 is really a size 30 due to vanity sizing
When people say that they sized down 2 from true waist size due to stretching... they would go from true waist 30 to tagged 28 (which is actually true 30)
Your true waist size is 30 and you just essentially bought a size 30... but you supposedly sized down to account for stretching...
So after it stretches (let's say 2 sizes), wouldn't it technically be a true 32 confused

No it stretches to a 30, it's supposed to fit uncomfortable for a good week.

So where does the vanity sizing come into play

It almost always depends on the person wearing them and how they wear them.

I don't quite follow...

Let me rephrase... Do you size down to account for vanity sizing + stretching or due to stretching alone (or vanity sizing alone)
