shougan my NCs, which are about 2 months old has a flat button too. so no worries

and blee those stacks are real nice for APCs. hope mine comes out like that

looking at picking up some apc's and just had a question before buying...

im 6'1 and about 184lbs(i dont remember that well) and want a slim fit thats tapered at the bottom, of course not boot.

So, Im guessing the NS' will be the way I should go, but wondered if sizing down 2 from my regular 31-32 would be a bit too tight.

I wear my jeans lower but not insanely low...im too tall, haha.

Lastly, how do you keep that dark blue and starchy feel? i may be the only one that thinks this, but I like that new look the most, is this a good route for me?

i sized down 2 and they fit great.

i bought some Black NS off some guy on sufu a couple months back and they don't have a selvedge line
they were hemmed to a 32
are these fake?

^if they were hemmed, then that would be understandable... (for the selvage line)

and i have a question, for a fitted fit (which is 2 down from my true waist size), which pair should i size down 2 from to give me that fit? 28 im grim tims or 29 in slim jims? so should i get a 26 or 27 in NS's? i really don't know which size to get since i dont want it to be too skinny nor too baggy..

hahah! i havent been told that but i feel my hips are kinda odd....def not child bearing hips like some ive seen on dudes...

but yea, i gotta go up to cmonwealth this weekend and get some fits....so not being able to button the top button is normal right? it will stretch out over time?

also, no one really answered the question but is there a way to keep the dark starchy look when bought new? I like that crisp look

just picked up my nc's (4 1/2 months) from the tailor today, didn't have a blowout coming or anything, i just wanted to prevent it from happening

From what i've seen before this was a different way of doing it, but the only stitching was in the circle around the patch and whats holding the rest down seems to be an epoxy or fabric glue of some sort. It feels really sturdy though and i think it will keep the blowouts away.

for petite standard, unless ur digging a really slim look, sizing down 3 would be a bad idea. I'd say 2 at most.

i sized down 3 to a 27 on the petit standards and they have stretched a decent amout. but if the black ones dont stretch as much id say go with 28s..

Just bought my first pair of APCs. Really unimpressed with the quality. They're thinner than standard Levis. Do I have to go spend $300 to get a real quality pair of jeans?
