Jack, so you sized down two eh? How did you find the stretching out process? I've got a pair of NC sized down one and they're being pretty stubborn.

These will be my first apc jeans NS, might pick these over evisuxpuma jeans. My brother just told me that they sell these at some up against the walls'. Is that true becasue that would save me the hassle of ordering online. Oh, and I wear a szie 31, so im picking up a 29

Last question, I promise. What size should I look into for Rescues compared to NS's if I want them to fit about the same? I.E. I wear a 35 in NS's, I should get a ___ in Rescues.


i think you would size down one, rescues stretch like a motherfucker

^ doesnt matter, ordered Imperial Dukes instead.

and to jma 503 t, they are usually very good when it comes to customer service, so I wouldnt be worried, especially since you ordered during the holidays.

^ Didnt. I actually sized up one (OMGZ thaT's UnpOSSible!!) I am a muscular guy, but not big muscular (if that makes sense). I originally sized down 1 and they were uncomfortably tight, so I tried to get my actual size, they didnt have em, so I said fuck it and ended up sizing up one. I've been wearing mine everyday for about a month and they have only really stretched in the waist a little (I wear a belt). I think they fit perfect, but others may disagree.

Makes sense. If they aren't tight to begin with you won't enough stress on them to stretch out dramatically.
PS, anyone with New Cures find that they stretched a bit in the calf?

Yea, majority of raw denim bleeds, actually I think all of them do because its the nature of the denim

If I want my new standards to be a bit baggy, but not outrageously baggy, what size should i get? I am 5'8 and 145 lbs if that helps. I wear size 33x34 in STFs and I just want it a little bit slimmer than that. Thanks!
I'm also not planning to wash it in the first two weeks or so for fades...if that makes any difference at all.

I know there are the rescues, but I want a black pair. Any other suggestions others in black for less than $200?

I like to sag and wear mine a little on the baggy side...so mine rests a little lower than the hip.

Size down 2-3. 2's safe, but I tend to think 3 is more flattering. New Standards have a bit of a boxy silhouette, and sizing down three makes them nice and slim. Which I guess would be that 511 fit.

you'd probably want new cures in a 29. new standards arent really skinny unless you size way down [like maybe a 27].

so i tried on some New Standards, and im a true 34. I have thicker legs tho...i sized down 2 like ppl say so i tried a 32 they were tight as shit. so i tried a 33 and they were a lot better, and the 34 was sorta baggier than id like. So my question is should i take the 33 that seemed nice, or go w/ the tight 32s and they'll break in.

im lookin for a comfortable not to baggy not tight fit... thanks

The 32s. You will really be surprised how much they stretch out. They will become quite comfortable and look good.

I just got my 32 NS's and they fit kind of tight but look great. I cant fit shit in the pockets though. Getting the buttons up wasn't a problem. I usually wear a 34 on levis 501's slightly loose.

Never got a ship notification from the APC store but they got here quick, I'd order from them again.

I just grabbed a pair of NS in sz. 33 (last pair on context) i usually wear a 36 with a little movement, is the three sz. down to much or will it work out?

depends, you might have a veryveryveryveryvery hard time buttoning them up, and it might take about 2 weeks for it stretch out (if worn everyday) if it doesnt work, you can always return and wait for them to stock for 34
