look... my intention is to do what the failed stickeys up top tried to do... answer questions people need answered about things like fading, care, construction, etc... not dressing a 14 year old kid. and no, i have never asked an internet forum to decided between two pairs of jeans for me. i know what i like and go with it.

Hey Cheep... strange to see you on here..
i'm going to humor you and actually ask you the ONLY question i have about denim, i feel like i know almost everything else by this point, with the exception of this one question.
Leg twist on selvedge jeans, i'm sure you're familiar with it. Why does the left leg always twist two to three times as much as the right leg. If you don't believe me, look up photos of vintage denim or lay your own jeans down.
Any ideas?

SERIOUS QUESTION

I have a pair of jeans that i really like ( the wash is crazy) but they're a little too baggy. Can I shrink them some by throwing in the washer and drying on high? Will this work or will it probably ruin them?

Serious Questions Here

I'm a fat ass dude compared to most of the guys in this forum and a diet
is out of the question for now(i wear a form fitting STF in a 40x32)

1) What sizes do most premium denim co. go to(apc,samuri,RR,Earnest)??

2)What brands go up to my size or bigger?

3)Where can I find these sizes and brands in Southern California so I can try
them on before I drop 2bills on some denim??
