mines still like 35 i only warm soaked it.


Are you talking about the 1947 stf?
Were they 38 before the soak?
Whats the waist size before and after the soak?
How did you soak them?

I got the LVC 1947 501's, not the 501 stf...big difference.

Yes they were 38 before.

Before the soak it was around a 31, after the soak its like a 32 1/2.

The reason for that is becuase I soaked them while they were around my HIPS.

Yes, I sat in the tub with them.

Hey everyone, I have been very tempted in buying a pair of Slim Jims Dry Japan. Cheapest one razz. But i am afraid it might just come out fitting like my 514s.

I am a tru size 30X32 which everything fits well all around but no stacking. I have a pair of 32X34 514's and it's way baggy for me. I am 6" and only 130 lbs. I am just wondering if i got a pair of size 29 slim jims, would it probably be a good fit? As for now, the thigh opening and leg is pretty baggy for me on the 514's.

Size down one. Like all raw denim, they will stretch. They're a slim/straight leg fit.

man, i wear levi's 501s, 34waist and i want something more skinny? cuz those levi's aint look good wit blazers or half cabs, they are too baggy for em IMO...should i just try 501's wit 32waist or would you recommend me buyin new type of jeans? i want nudies but i cant cop em cuz im from one small country in Europe and i cant spend 200on jeans which wont fit me eventually :/

You can get stacks if the inseam is too long for you, and you can get combs from wearing your jeans. smile

k here goes... im like 5 foot 3 (HAHAHAHA yes im short) and skinny. I currently wear some levis 527 bootcut jeans 28 x 28. The waist is ok but they are just not long enough... I dont want a realllly skinny jean because I dont like them but the jeans I have now I step on them and crap because the leg opening is big... also when I sit down they ride up almost exposing my ankles... any short guys out there know what jean to get that have a smaller leg opening but that are not really skinny?

chic, get some levis 501. stf if youre cheap, LVC 47 or 55 if you wanna spend. get at least a 32 inch inseam... 34 if you get raw shrink to fit

Levis 501 STF aren't complicated at all.

1. But them in true waist size for slimmer fit, or size up one for a baggier fit.
2. Wash or soak them in hot water for maximum shrinkage/cold water for less shrinkage.
3.Wear them until you decide to wash or soak them again, that's it!

Levis LVC 45/55 are just different models of Levis. Quality on LVC (Levi's Vintage Collection) is superior to STF's quality, and the price reflects that too.

No, you can only go smaller, unless the seam is really wide, but not much denims have wide seams
