I tried on a 30 waist pair of s001s and they fit. on the website, it says that the tagged size isn't accurate because of where you wear your jeans, although i can wear them on my actual waist AND my hips (where i usually wear my jeans)
my question is, since the site says the 30 is actually a 32 when you measure it, and i was trying them on to see what size ih 634Ss i should get, and they stretch an inch in the waist, should i be getting a 31 to stretch into a 32 or should i be getting a 30 (which could stand to stretch an inch, as it fit but was tight)?
If you could get the 30 on and do up all the buttons with it being tight in the waist, that should be sufficient. You do want to take into account the stretching so if the 30 fit pretty snug it would stretch out nicely. Take note that usually people size down 1 with the IH634s. Need help choosing between Weird guy and Skinny Guy for Naked and Famous. The closest fit to Levis 510's would be better, though i prefer a little looser on the thighs and tighter in the leg...
As for the sizing, if im a 35/36 waist what size would i be in N&F? And are you able to choose inseams?
The Skinny Guy is closer to the 510 and the Weird Guy is similar to the APC New Standard and definitely has more space up top. If you're happy with the fit of the 510 the Skinny Guy might be a better option for you. If thigh bulging is an issue the Weird Guy may be a better choice because it is looser on the thighs and still tapers at the knee.
Skinny Guy size up 1, go with a 36
Weird Guy size down 1, go with a 34
First experience with raw denim. This is supposedly a slim fit cut.
How's the fit generally?
Looks pretty good in my opinion. How did you size and which jeans are these? They look like they should stretch out pretty nicely!
Does anyone have measurements for thin finn and grim tim?
Which sizes are you looking for? Context has got them:
