good choice man, but it's pretty hard to know how to size without your true waist size. measure your actual waist where you plan to wear your jeans and then size down 2-3 depending on how tight you want it to fit for the new standards. it sounds like you'd probably be a size 34 or 35, but just double check and go from there man!

Ok thanks!SL-100x just seems a bit too loose in most of the pictures. How much should I size down to get the right fit if I sized down from 31 to 30 in weird guys?

I know what you mean. ST-100x definitely look more like APC New Cure of NF Skinnyguy though. A couple guys have posted in sufu saying that they sized down 2 and it stretched out pretty well but most ppl are going TTS so there aren't pics of it.

question..what are the best type of jeans to wear with mid to hi top sneakers? I have 501 hard-denim jeans but they tend to be a little too wide at the bottom and cover the back of the shoe more than i would like. Whats the best type of fit to wear so that the shoes can be best seen? I can't mess with skinny jeans btw...i used to love the levis 520's but i don't think they make them anymore. Any advice?

Naked and Famous Weird Guy

APC New Standard

These both are a pretty standard slim cut jean and they look good with almost any shoe.

New Standard? Size down 2 so you would go with a 30 waist

Hmm i'm 5'7 with a 28 inseam now

Standing up it's a tiny amount of stacking

Sitting it shows a little of my ankle

is this ok or should I get 30 inseam from now on? I kind of want more stacks but not too much

I'd say go with the 30 man, if its too long you could always hem it again, or cuff it and show off some selvedge haha ;) Having a longer inseam always gives you the option to do other stuff like lots of stacking, pinrolling, cuffs, or hemming if you don't like it.

If you say so! Can't really go wrong with a clean hem either!
If you do want more stacks, the 30 inseam definitely gives you that option! If you find it's too much, you can always hem to 29 for less stacks! Better to play it safe with a longer inseam than hemming to 28 and wishing you had kept it longer right? If you are gonna hem it, just be sure!

I hear sizing runs small. should i size up for a 510 fit? [anyone here know anything about CM]

and it's probably not selvedge

I might buy apcs in the future though

idk how big 22 inches is but petit standards have large thighs and they taper down quite a bit below the knee.
