i'm 5'8" @ 160 lbs
I'm looking for a pair that both fit and feel comfy, some that are not too skinny around the thighs, but slim down the legs and towards the ankles. Nudie have some sweet models, but my previous two tore outside of the seam... I normally wear 28"/30", and prefer raw or coated denim.

do all orisue "slim" jeans fit the same?
i have a pair of NC size 31, the waist and thigh area are way too tight for me (this prolly being that i gained some weight since i bought these prior to me going to the gym) the other areas are alright, could use a lil more room but its not bad at all.
question is, with this in mind, should i size +1 in skinny or -1 in tapered to get a fit somewhat similar to my apc's with a little more room?
those apc's were a 32 waist but now im about a 34 waist so it's hell putting those on. so id either get a 34 skinny or a 33 tapered.
anyone help please?
AND for reference: im 6'1" 185 lbs
(and which would give a fit similar to 511's? but with a bit more of a taper on so the stacks are held neatly)
How should I buy Naked and Famous denim, Size up or down ?

Just a question regarding nudie thin finn sizing;
I wear a 30x30 in stretch Levi 511's, they fit well around the waist. For thin finn should I size down to a 29 or keep it at a 30" waist?

How do levi 520s fit?
520s are tapered and not skinny. It's got a high rise and provides a kind of slouchy fit.
There is space in the thigh area and it tapers down all the way. It's a good relaxed, slim cut.
I believe most people just go TTS or even 1 down with 520s

Does the bottom fit like 511? and the top?

I'm skinny(usually wear 510), if I size down would the thigh still be too big for me?
The bottom fits a little closer to the 511 but is more tapered (gets skinnier as it goes down) while the 511 is just skinny all the way. The top is a high rise so there's more space in the thigh/butt area. If you usually wear 510 (super skinny correct? ) Then I'm going to assume that they will have too much space in the thigh even if you sized down. I'm a sprinter and have bigger thighs and the 520 fit me well. You should give it a shot sized down 1 or 2 though and see if you like it.

Do you know the closest levi to apc petit standards though? I don't wanna spend 150+ on apcs
APC doesn't make the best denim out there but it's a good investment! Now I ain't trying to convince you to drop 2 bills on denim, I'm just saying it's worth it hahahaha
Anyway, APC PS is the slimmer version of the NS.
Levi's 510 is probably the closest to APC PS and I'd say the Levi's 520 is closer to the NS.

I guess the reason i wanted 520s was because 510s are very slim in the thigh and it doesn't flatter my already skinny legs lol
