size 29 SE05BSP pre soak pics. shots are bad just cause i didn't really take time to get good lighting or have someone else take them. fit feels pretty good, can't wait to soak to get the thighs a bit tighter. like sidney lo said, the waist is truly a killer. i'm 5'6"-5'7" and about 135 pounds for reference, lotsa stacking.

^ Not taking anyones side here BUT, explain what the need is to buy several lower end "beater" jeans (jeans as beaters, honestly what the fuck, all jeans should be beat to shit especially if raw) when you could have instead invested in a pair or 2 of some Sammies, Imps, Skulls etc.

Quality over quantity.

good points, and i agree, jeans aren't meant to be worn hard. I personally don't like mowing the lawn and doing other dirty work in my SDAs, Imps, and diors. Im not saying I'm scare of "dirt" but come on, grass stains aren't that cool. But to each his own right?

Although I don't understand your logic. I can agree here.

thinking on a pair of LVC 1947 501xx, i'm a 34. My question is that will the 36 really shrink down to a 34?
Also, what are the differences in fit between the 1937 and 1947s?

I like how you have pictures of your face, and then later you start blurring them hahaha. But liking the fits on the Manik and Flatheads.

theres no way your NS have a 7.5 opening, thats the same as diors and NS are far from skinny

I measured the pair I just sold Ryan. It was 7.5 also (sz. 29). Maybe it changes from 29 to 30?

I think you may have measured wrong
that or you got a messed up fair, from what ive been hearing although based on NS cut, the leg is slimmer with a smaller opening, dont take my word for it

Don't see why the PT would have a bigger opening than the NS and NC in the same size smile

ps. accidently cut off size 30 on the NS, but u get the point

^^ how am i supposed to take your word based on an unlabeled chart?

either way, how could the NS which is similar to a 501 cut, measure a 19cm opening, the same as dior which are as skinny as jeans come?

i think youre reading that chart wrong or something, doesnt make sense to me

i used a ruler and measured my shit and its 8.3-8.5 somewhere in that range

my bad for cutting off the labeling of the chart, but the far right is the leg opening, ive included new size chart pics
as far as i know NS are not based on levis 501.. 501s are alot looser
im not even sure if 501s are tapered... while NS's are tapered.. someone confirm
even if they are, therye no where near the same measurements for the same size of each
also yes diors are labeled 19cm, but each size has a different leg opening
i have owned dior 19cms in size 30 and it measured around 7inches

the only thing you need to do here is goto contextclothing and look at the size charts for NS and NC to confirm......or look at the picture of me measuring my jeans

In summary: size 30 NS measures around 7.5 in leg opening; dior 19cm size 30 measures around 7.0 leg opening

for convenience:

Samurai s710xx size 30:

pre-soak:

Definitely liking this fit a lot better than my s0500s. Also, the exact fit I wanted.

The only things that I hope that will change soon would be the buttons holes. The buttons were impossible to put in, felt like nails going through my fingers.
