Not really, but they were next to the Ubiqs, and I thought I could get better stacking with Skytops, than with the els.

I wear a size 30-31 for most pants, is a 27 the right size for me in APC NS?
June 10, 2008 @ 06:00:31
thats hard to say, a 30-31 can be different for different jeans.
measure you waist(or hips, depending on where you wear them) and get back to me

I dont have anything to measure my waist with.. the most I can do is try on old jeans and see if I can still fit or come close. The smallest size I can fit in and not suck in is a 29.. so a 26??
June 10, 2008 @ 19:13:10
im telling you, its pointless to compare sizes to other brands.
each brand measuredifferently for each "tagged" size...
trust me, if youre going to spend 150+ on jeans, find something to measure your waist..
buying jeans for that price and being disapointed.. is disapointing.

do those flatheads have a similar fit to the NS? Cause it sorta looks like it does and I definitely wanna cop in a few months
June 10, 2008 @ 20:38:02
newstandard = tapered leg
flathead 310/3001 = straight leg

there you go
June 10, 2008 @ 21:43:35
Actually my flatheads are slimmer towards the leg opening than my new standards...

Edit: I want to sell my flatheads size 30 PM me...

I'm planning on getting the Samurai 710BK's.. however I cant find size 30s.. so would a size 31 be alright? And when I get them I'll soak them so the waist shrinks to a 29-30?

jw, how much did you size down on your ns?
June 18, 2008 @ 22:40:24
My True waist is 33, rock a 30 in APC NS.
Thinking about either getting New Cures or Imp Shearers. Size down 2 on both those?

Im a 31" wasit and went down to a 28" in Shearers (Tagged 28, Measures 29"). They were ridiculously tight at first, and had to wear them very high, their a lot better now. I think I'd still prefer a 29 in them though so I could sag more.
June 20, 2008 @ 02:58:14
If you soak them they'll shrink to a 31, Samurais generally shrink to tagged size but they'll stretch out back to 33.

So your saying soaking wont shrink these pants at all?
