Slim Jims are a bit slimmer than 514s all around, and they have more of a taper. (Do 514s even taper much at all? They seem quite straight legged.)
Size down one from your Levis size.
New Standards fit differently depending on how much you size down. I'd say they fit similar to 514s in the fullness of the cut, though they're overall a much more flattering fit. Rescues are very straight legged and are baggier than 514s. Hope that helps.

I thought it was size two down cause the waist stretches like crazy. But then again I don't know much about APCs, can anyone confirm for me?

Sizing up/down isn't like a rule, it depends on how you want it to fit.

those look a little loose for dukes. i woulda gone with the 31 and had them stretch.

A quick question for Sam 710 owners. Did you guys buy true to size? If so, was it not brutal around the waist after the soak? Just need a bit of advice before I pull the trigger.

Hey guys, i'm 6"6. I rock slim jims and ksubi's in a 34x34. I sling them low on the hips and they dont stack much but they look pretty good. I like the look of imp dukes, does anyone know how they fit on a taller body. I've herd they run a 40" inseam which sounds almost perfect but I haven't been anywhere selling them yet..

no i actually got true to size...i'm normally a 38 in all my jeans...so i got a 38
just to give you an idea
i have a 36 in apc NS
and 38 SamXBig USAs and 38 in these s710bks

cool cool, thanks for the info dude. did you soak them when you got them cause i know Witts and some other people that have the 710s were saying they wished they had sized up one or 2 in the waist cause they shrink a good amount. sorry for the questions just really thinking about getting myself a pair

yeah i know witts at first didn't want to soak them at all....but everyone told him that you are supposed to...

but yeah for mine..i soaked for an hour in warm/hot water and added a pot of boiling water at 30 mins....

it did shrink quite a bit..but the waist stretched really quickly...plus i wore them when they were a little damp..

A 26 seems like you'd be sizing down too much, a 27 or even a 28 is probably a better choice I think.
