Doesn't matter. If I'm feeling lazy I'll just leave them on the ground or hang them.

sorry if this is a stupid question but I was wondering if you can use febreeze on your jeans when they start to smell, that way you can keep from washing them for a while longer.

get soft and may tighten up by alittle, your 511s arent raw just rigid so just wash and dry them like regular jeans nothing special

i have a pair of raw jeans that I've washed a few times before right after a few wears.

Now that I know about raw denim I want to get some honeycomb fading action, but I'm not sure if the previous washing will make a difference??

you dont need to wear them in the shower...soak for about 30mins-1hr in the hottest water from the tap...then let them cool for a bit then put them on...

trust me once they dry they would be stiff as fuck...

peep my avatar...its a pair of stfs standing on its own after soak and dry

Do I actually have to soak my raw denim just to get really nice honeycombs? Or can I just wear them without wash or soak?

^^you have to wear them first to get the creases going...then after washing/soaking the combs become more defined...this normally takes awhile hence the "evolution of jeans" thread

^^^haha...you have no reason to be anxious. they are a pre-washed pair of jeans so nothing will happen to it. the most that will happen that is very positive is that it will feel lighter. but no extra fading or loss of fading will occur.

chill bro...your jeans are safe

once a jean is faded, it most likely wont become unfaded. i threw a pair of predistressed jeans in the wash with a couple packets of black rit to try out overdying and the rit didnt cover the distressed areas.

they are a bit baggier than i would normally wear them so if i hot soak them how much will they shrink?
